KJT Posted 8 June 2018 Posted 8 June 2018 Leicester are second favorite s to land him with Skybet, so if he doesn't go to the Spud's we got a great chance to get him. But in reality if he doesn't go to the Spud's he probably go to Everton or West Ham

Popular Post Max Wall Posted 8 June 2018 Popular Post Posted 8 June 2018 40 million being bandied about If we get Grealish and Shaqiri, we'll quickly become one of the leagues most hated clubs. Only need to sign Alli then to have the most loathsome midfield in the Prem. 1 4

smudger63 Posted 8 June 2018 Posted 8 June 2018 There is no way he is going anywhere for 40 million quid! Least of all Tottenham, where Daniel Levy is notoriously difficult to negotiate with. Villa are desperate for money, i would imagine that any clubs interested will bide their time, until Villa come calling with their begging bowl, and he will be sold at a knockdown price.. 3

Levy doesn't normally overpay & I don't think he'll start with Grealish. 1 1

KJT Posted 8 June 2018 Posted 8 June 2018 40million for a Championship player, no wonder teams buy foreigners from European teams, same quality at less than half the price!

He seems to be over-hyped for what he has achieved. Rather have Maddison and a Brazilian I have never seen play. :-) Edited 8 June 2018 by Merchant_Banker 8

Obviously the more clubs that are in for him, the better for Villa, who will be hoping for a bidding war, but that bidding war will not start or end even remotely close to 40 million in any case. Personally i would prefer Maddison over Grealish anyway. 1

He negotiates hard and squeezes every penny out of other clubs for his players yes. But he's over paid for a few himself. Sissoko being one. 1

Everton are crying out for a No 10. They only have about eight and only spent about £200m on them. 1
ZeGuy Posted 9 June 2018 Posted 9 June 2018 I seriously can't understand the hype about this one. Maddison is a much brighter prospect. 1
ARM1968 Posted 9 June 2018 Posted 9 June 2018 I may have said this before, but this kid is a cvnt. Let someone else buy this festering sore of a player. Spuds would be a great fit. 1

Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 10 June 2018 Posted 10 June 2018 Over rated player, I don’t get all the hype surrounding him, I hope we miss out (if we are even interested in him)
sylofox Posted 13 June 2018 Posted 13 June 2018 The sun says spuds to make a £15m take it or leave it offer for Jack time for a laugh on VT
nnfox Posted 13 June 2018 Posted 13 June 2018 I can't believe this thread is approaching 40 pages! I think he's absolute doggo and vastly overrated. I don't want him anywhere near our club, even if he was offered on a free transfer. 3
