If we're going to get dicked, can we get dicked and also give Barnes 15 minutes? I'm sure the sharpened pitchforks will be swaying violently from the terraces when, down 4 nil in the 75 minute, Puel brings on an untested attacking midfielder but the lad needs experience: and experience of attempting to play top flight football in a psychologically damaged in-fighting team is valuable experience indeed, and will put him in good stead for next season whether we're managed by Puel or not. I'm going to optimistically suggest a 4 - 1 loss with Barnes getting a wonder goal (or to be frank any kind of goal).

So latest from press conference today is everyone who missed the West Ham game is going to be assessed, only ‘injured player’ to train is Shinji

The Fa have still not decided if Albrighton should face a longer ban with a decision set to come at some point tomorrow

Dragovic is a injury doubt and unlikely to play

Puel says he is trying to lay foundations for the future by bringing youth into the team

says he understands the pressures of the premier league and feels he is the man to take this team forward but needs a transfer window to enable him to shape his team and ideas

For like the first time ever, I'm not sure i can be bothered to make the journey. That is the problem with what we have become. A completely uninteresting pile of rubbish. We will do well to keep it under 3-0 to them.

I didn’t for soton (good call) but the thought (however unlikely) that we might finally beat arsenal means I just can’t miss it .....

Bringing my dad to this match for his first match of the season (mother been very poorly).

What really hurts is that we are going to get well and truly whacked and he has been a fan for 60 + years and quite frankly I wonder if the players and the manager even deserve an evening of his time?

Puel will not know what's hit him as we are quickly dissambled by Arsenal.... It's gonna get toxic people !...as a rule Leicester fans i think are normally patient & loyal, it takes a lot to unhinge them...but we know he's just not a gud fit, no insperation & we don't want him spending our pre-season budget on unknown crap....# PuelnRudkinout

Is this game on tv?

Might be on in the US or elsewhere, but not here, Chelsea Vs Huddersfield is being shown instead

Arsenal are going to dominate the ball and not sit back which might help us more than previous home games as we suit counter-attacking far more.

Albrighton suspended for both remaining matches.

Beat me to it.

Think we’d almost be better just giving some of the young fringe players some experience, although I’d love nothing more than to finally get a positive result against these.... but something tells me at the moment I’m more likely to win the lottery (and I don’t even play).

Haven't seen replays, but it seems like judging from the post-match thread at Palace he was rather unlucky?

We can no longer counter attack, which is the problem.

I must be mad, but I have a feeling we  will win 1-0.

Puel will accidentally give them his team talk, Wenger will fall into a waking sleep like state and their team will play like every forward pass equals a kitten dying in the world.

Until we see the arsenal line up we can’t assume much

they have nothing to play for at all and players must be worrying about their world cups in this situation. Given what happened to Koscielny last week, wenger could well pick a side with few players who will be involved in Russia.

We might be better off with their first team all playing and really getting in and amongst them early on

if our attitude is slack then we will prob  get beaten by three or four

We are going to be scraping the barrel for fit XI. Goodness knows what has happened to our players and all of the injuries we have picked up ( if real.)Again another question to be directed at our illustrious leader. No point risking people and getting long term knocks ruining a summer. We know what some of the regulars are about, so maybe some of the younger players get a game. What have we to lose

GK: Hamer

DR: Amartey

DC: Knight

DC: Maguire

DL: Fuchs

ML: Barnes

MR: Gray

MC: Silva

MC: Choudhury

SC: Vardy

SC: Iheanacho.

I’m sure it’ll be a welcome distraction either way, no doubt there’ll be a lot to talk about whatever the outcome. Hope you both make a good day of it.

I can see a good hiding on the cards which might not be such a bad thing looking towards next season. I’m not one for wanting to change managers as often as we have but sometimes it’s better to cut the cord before it’s too late. We’ve seen the past two seasons ruined by poor starts and I can it see it happening again it we don’t make a change.

....looks good. Playing Thomas in the Qkazaki role and Diabate on the right will be a more balanced forward line. I think Thomas is perfect for that role but Puel has not been astute enough to see this. He goes around biggin himself up about what he has done in his time at the club and I can not see anything he has said that he can actually back up.
