Harry Kane is argubaly the best out-and-out striker in the game and would probably be a starter for nearly every NT in the world.

In the absence of a settled central midfield and given the lack of support from the flanks for many months, a fantastic achievement. 

 

Tenth best Leicester City goalscorer of all times, only two goals behind Jimmy Walsh in 9th.

One more season like this and he'll surpass Gary Lineker in 6th.

one of my favourite stats involving Vardy actually came about earlier this season...

 

First ever player to score against Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all in the same campaign. 

 

No-one can ever say he doesn't turn up for the big games!

Imagine how many goals he could have got had we not played so shit in the 2nd half of the season. He has worked off scraps for large parts of the season. Crazy to think how many he'd score in a top team

Has anyone noticed that Alli was on the bench today. The mardy little scr0te who has never passed the ball to Vardy when the two have been in the same England team. Hope Southgate has noticed and plays someone else in midfield in Russia. Maybe this is too much to wish for, but here's hoping.

Imagine how many goals Vardy would get though if he had Lamela, Eriksen, Alli and Son supplying him rather than just a ‘turns up when he wants’ Mahrez.

Id have no surprise if he goes in the summer for his last final contract.

He deserves to play for a Top 4 premier league side if we manage to keep him we have done very well.

Vardy is statistically more clinical than Kane. Due to the fact Kane has 5 chances to vardy’s 1.

20 league goals this season. Legendary player for us will be sadly missed when he finally hangs up his boots. Let's hope he's still with Leicester come then

if england start te norm, we will get the normal (last16,or last 8), so instead of worrying about other teams lets play Vardy AND Kane

other teams can then worry worry about us.

 

Take some bottle on Southgates part though, but as a fan much rather take this route than just be  cannon fodder for the traditionals

Clearly wouldn’t work. He has no space for England as it is nevermind with Kane up there with too. Vardy has to be the main forward.
