Kitchandro Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Referee may as well hang up his whistle if he’s not going to send that Forest player off there. Disgusting decision.
Super_horns Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Guess he thought there were covering players .. Never a dull moment in the Championship. Top 3 all losing again .
StanSP Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Don't like them but fair play to Hull. 5 wins in a row now and smashed Bolton 6-0 today. Undefeated in about 7 or 8 as well. Properly pulled themselves away from relegation battle.
Wymsey Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 A lengthly stoppage time between Aston Villa v QPR, 13+ minutes.
AjcW Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Not a bad way for Karanka to sign off if he is sacked!

SAFC1 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 That’s some run Hull have gone on, now looking up rather than down.

A shocking 202% of revenue on wages. Absolutely disgusting.
surrifox Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Stoke bin Gary Rowett . He is a decent enough manager , they are becoming slightly tragic as a club
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Stoke have sacked Gary Rowett, David Moyes is one of the favourites for the job! When will they ever learn?

After a poor start, he seemed to have steady the boat a bit and also actually moving them slightly positively in the table. But felt his position would be in great doubt, after David Moyes confirming that he was interested in the opportunity there just a few days ago.

They lost like 3 over Christmas, including a defeat to Bolton iirc
Leicesterpool Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Rowett is a good manager, but the Stoke job was always a tough ask for him. Done a good job at championship level of getting clubs from the bottom half to the reaches of play offs, but never actually taken a team up. I don't think he'll be out of work long... next stop for Rowett... Forest? Ooh the Derby fans will love that. For Stoke there's talk about Moyes which I can see happening to be fair but I never get the hype about him even at championship level.

Tuna Posted 9 January 2019 Posted 9 January 2019 A quick visit to the Oatcake forum reveals their "Rowett Out" thread was started on September the 26th That was after 9 league games.

If its not working then it's not working. We did the same with Sven after he spent similar amounts of money.
Super_horns Posted 9 January 2019 Posted 9 January 2019 They had actually improved a bit after then but keep drawing games when in front etc. Nathan Jones to take over - done well at Luton but a step up in ego and pressure.
Fox92 Posted 9 January 2019 Posted 9 January 2019 Good move. Bigger club but it'll be tough. Be interesting to see how Luton go on now. May have been tempted to stay and for promotion, they could have been in the same division next season.
