All this says to me is that Belgium have a little more strength in depth to their squad than we do, no alarm bells about the merits of our best 11, 7 of whom haven't featured today. Easier route it is then.

I think the big takeaway from this is that Vardy and Rashford don't work well together - they're both looking to move away from the ball rather than come to it to pick it up. That's all well and good if you've got a number 10 in the hole, but when you don't, there's a real noticeable gap between the midfield and the front two, and you end up creating very little.

Belguim finishing strong, clearly realise that Columbia are better than Japan, yet our arrogant reporting media think that missing Brazil will be better, assuming we can beat Columbia who are far better than Panama.
