If theyd kept him in goal they'd probably have won the CL last year Give over. Alisson is a much better keeper than Mignolet. Mignolet made his fair share of mistakes as well hence they wanted to go looking for a new keeper. Alisson has shown to be a bit mistake-prone but nowhere near what Mignolet became.

He's better than Mignolet but he's nowhere near as good as the hype and not worth what they paid. If they field their strongest 11, the keeper is still one of their weak links.

Yeah every time he's mentioned the media go on about that "save." He literally knew nothing about it, I don't think he moved. I'm all for applauding good reflexes even if it doesn't look like much, David de Gea is the king of tiny, quick movements to make deceptively difficult saves right near him. But that Milik stop he literally just happened to be coincidentally where the ball was hit. It was a terrible shot.

Maaaybe he's better than Migs, doesnt seem worth what they paid for him And Mignolet is definitely better than Karius. Klopp seems a bit of a mug in the gk dept.
EastAnglianFox Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 They dont make it easy to wish Liverpool well on BT do they? Spent more time harping on about a non existent hand ball shout than they did on the Mane sitter
Finnegan Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Also amusing, praising Bayern for not being over awed by the incredible Anfield atmosphere when: 1. Their stadium is twice the size 2. It's their fans making all the noise
Super_horns Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Liverpool would probably take 0-0. Have key defenders back next week and might hit Bayern on the break.
Izzy Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 FFS this Bayern play acting and time wasting is painful to watch
UniFox21 Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Commentators noting Sule falling over easily; ignoring Henderson and Salah doing the same

MC Prussian Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Oh, dear. Liverpool running out of steam already? The motor's been stuttering for a while now, and they can't blame it on injuries. Bayern will have a field day with these in the return fixture - unless Klopp magically manages to get priorities straight again.
yorkie1999 Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Think Liverpool have the advantage with the away goals and being a strong counter attacking team.
Stadt Posted 19 February 2019 Posted 19 February 2019 Alisson is one of the single biggest reasons Liverpool are in title contention and is one of the best keepers in the world. Yeah he might be directly at fault for a few but the tradeoff is clearly worth it.
RowlattsFox Posted 20 February 2019 Posted 20 February 2019 The playacting in the Champions League is on a different level and almost makes it unwatchable.

EnderbyFox Posted 20 February 2019 Posted 20 February 2019 Leicester legend Jeffrey Bruma starts for Schalke against Man City tonight. Fondly remembered for that time he scored 2 worldies in one game
StanSP Posted 20 February 2019 Posted 20 February 2019 Can't tell if Atletico vs Juventus is going to be a boring 0-0 because both teams are so equally well-matched or they're both going to be a total contrast scoreline-wise to last night's games...
Jonezy Posted 20 February 2019 Posted 20 February 2019 That was Leicester-level of stupidity by Schalke there... Kinda nice to see, that we are not the only team shooting ourselves in the foot.
