Tweak it slightly to a 4-2-3-2 and hope no one notices.

Hahahahaaaaa, even with another player I think we'd be doggo.

Few reports from Spain that we’ve made an offer? Either that or it’s been lost in translation.....

Please be true I would

imagine he is a Slimani/Ulloa replacement do you think?

Still don't see where he fits in? On what planet can we have someone like Iheanacho as 3rd choice and Alcacer as 2nd choice in a team that plays only 1 up top?

If we sign him he'll end up playing as a number 10 just like Ulloa and Slimani who had never played that role in their life. Guaranteed to be the next Sandro Ramirez.

Hopefully he’s a Slim AND Ulloa replacement. Get Musa off the books too and happy days. Three quality forwards is a luxury, but a good problem to have.

Surprised how many people are putting this guy in immediately ahead of Nacho. For me, Nachoman came alive at the end of the season and should be an important player for us now.

I thought he could play the wing?

To be honest, after Nacho's performances in pre-season, I think he may rightfully feel very hard done to, if they bring in another striker to knock him down to 3rd in the pecking order.

I would like Alcacer if we played a different system, but as we seem to be playing with just the 1 striker, it doesn't seem to be feasible to have 3 strikers on huge contracts, with 2 of them sitting on the bench, or even 1 sat at home!

I would probably say, sell on Slim and keep Ulloa for 3rd choice. It seems he would be happier in accepting his place.

We need to focus our efforts on getting in a great winger rather than a good striker.

Paco Alcacer can play on the right, even though his preferred position is that of a striker. Throws a big chunk of your argument out of the window.

Essentially, we need options with versatile players that are apt playing in different positions, such as Thorgan Hazard, who can play on the left, in the center or on the right if need be.

Personally, I can't see anything in this rumour. Probably just made up in order to fill the gossip columns.

I could play on the right if Puel wanted me to, doesn't mean that I should. Throws a big chunk of your argument out the window.

If we aren't singing players to actually play in their primary positions, but take over people that do play there. Then probably should just be looking for right wingers. In my opinion, but of course my opinion means nothing when you are bringing these cold, hard facts to the forum.
