Not a fan of loan signings unless there’s a view to make it permanent to be honest.

Personally have no issue with them, helps bring in people to fill spaces temporarily whilst you search for a permanent option and saves wasting X amount of money on huge gambles

Reported he'd be on 200k per week. No chance.

Where? I doubt he'd be on that even at Barcelona now. If he came here it'd be for first team football, not a massive extra wedge

This will be a great signing. Hes a quality player. Vardy wont be here forever so we need somebody to come in now and start challenging him ready to take over from him.

It also gives us more flexibility in the formations we can play.

Ok

Be real. No way we can compete with clubs of Barcelonas size in wages. He might end up with a payrise as part of a more important role depending on their wage structure, but primarily if he wants to leave it'll be to play football, he'll get a hefty wedge at Barcelona (although not 200k/week)

Yeah players are leaving Barcelona for Leicester all the time for our crazy big wages next to theirs.

Neymar was livid they sent him off to tinpot PSG, he was desperate to get a bit of the Leicester gravy train after hearing that Okazaki was on 500k basic.

Point taken -  but he won’t necessarily be on a big wedge at Barca - prob 60/70k per week (seen 90k reported somewhere)

He wouldn’t be coming here just to play - he will want a six figure salary

Don't worry about the wedge. He'll either want to come here to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, or not. Likewise, he'll either fancy a crack at the Premier League or not.

Just seen he's got 13 caps and six goals for Spain. Nice.

I disagree, sounds like he's a No9 to me and a makeshift winger.

Vardy won't be around for ever but has possibly two or even three good years left in him before we seriously think about replacing him. There's no point bringing in someone now who will expect to play, two to three years is a long time in football and we should look at Vardy replacement options closer to the time.

Is this happening or what?

I doubt it since there are no credible sources.

Doubt it.  We have another 60 pages to go

before we move into plane tracking mode, only to find out he has gone to Everton and Wes is given another year.  The wonders of FT.
