Kelechi Iheanacho / Nacho Man

High balls just chucked into him with 2 big cvnt centre backs marking him.

What's the kid meant to do ffs.

Getting his feet off the floor might be a start. The lad shows absolutely no desire to get on the ball. He doesn't run the channels, he bottles 50/50 challenges and he barely jumps when the ball is delivered into the box. Offers sod all for our midfield as he doesn't drop deep to hold play up or make movements in behind, we might as well play a sack of potatoes up front. Get rid (if anyone will even take him).

Needs a loan to a lower league / foreign side to get some confidence back.

We know he can finish, pity he can’t play. We could do with a second striker on form right now and Nacho is not that man

As ever, Iheanacho didn't help himself massively but he was hugely isolated today. Alone vs a back three with Ghezzal and Okazaki playing absolutely shocking behind him. The only chance he got came from a Newport error. I didn't think he was our worst player today and hope he can turn a corner with us but he needs to show more fight and desire.

A Striker for this current team is like being a One-Legged man and accepting an invitation to an Ass-kicking contest! You're doomed, Hamstrung, Emasculated and Prostrate.

Iheanacho barely received any service; Madisson had more clear cut chances but was profligate as usual...with those sissy shots. Obviously it's easier to scapegoat Iheanacho than accept the fact that he's not getting meaningful service and that others...including Gray,Ghezzal, Madisson, Albrighton have been thrash.

Honestly Madisson needs to improve his shooting. Not good enough for a Premier league player.

Done with him. No excuses today, against League 2 he mustered up nothing, snatched at a shot and walked around with the accustomed opened mouth scowl. Never looked like he's wanted to be here, very rare moments of quality, nothing else.

Find a buyer, get another striker

He has absolutely zero anticipation in the box, stood flat footed for a few crosses that he could have got to in the second half. I just don’t think he’s an out and out striker.

Hes in that bracket of worst strikers we have signed in my opinion.
