Good move by the club get him off the payroll.

Ruined any legacy with his comments about the club for me, totally unprofessional and misguided ...been stealing a living for a while now...zero effort.

Having said that he did play a small part in our title win and great escape season  and chipped in with a few goals so props for that.

Just need rid of Slimani now to round it all off.

He leaves knowing he was a part of the best era in the clubs history.

Very good player who stepped up when it mattered, such a likeable player who always gave his all.

The size of his manhood to take responsibility of the penalty against West Ham alone was enough for me. Memorable goals and a brilliant chant.

One of my favourite City players. Smash it Leo!

So many huge goals in his first two seasons- v Everton, Arsenal, Stoke, Man United then Swansea and Newcastle in the survival run-in. Norwich, West Ham and Swansea in the title season.

For £8 million, he was great value.

A small part? Our title win would not have happened in any way shape or form without Leo's contribution. He may not be one of the starting 11 that everyone will recall from 15-16 but he was pivotal in getting us there and over the the line, let alone the big goals he scored during the title win.

That penalty against West Ham will stay with me forever.

I’m not good at watching penalties at the best of times, but I remember standing in the Kop end and thinking if he’s got the bollocks to take it I’ve got the bollocks to watch it.

If you could bottle that feeling when the ball hit the back of the net you’d by richer that Vichai and Top.

Good luck Leo. Gave us so many good memories.

For what he's done for Leicester, he is a Legend!!!

Indeed.

Yet some people still think Morgan and King aren’t. lol

Great contribution. Best description is 'Cool as a Cucumber'. Everyone will remember the winner against Norwich but the composure to put away the equalising penalty against West Ham at home was another level.

Whilst I was disappointed with his open declaration to leave, he'll certainly be fondly remembered for his contribution beforehand.

Good luck in Mexico Leo. We wish you well!

Scored some huge goals for us in 14-15 and 15-16, a difficult last 2 years perhaps, but wish him well.

Highlights for me have to be the header against Newcastle after about 10 seconds in 14/15 and of course the last minute winner against Norwich and that penalty against West Ham...I don't think I've ever celebrated a goal as wildly as that one.

Bet Leo never thought he'd come to us and end up a premier league winner !!!

I always wonder what went wrong at him. Playing very well against the likes of madrid and arsenal but in just few months, struggle againts lower division team in cups. Seems I will never know why

Btw for how much is his transfer fees?

Thank you leo for refusing to play for the club then signing a new improved contract 6 months later. God I wish I could do that at work.

Thanks for that person who fool him many times to enrage him, from promise not to buy another striker so that he refuse swansea offer, until promise to allow him go at 8m only to refuse 10m bid from Sunderland.

When somebody got trolled like that for at least 7 months, we should say thanks too for the troll man

Others have mentioned how important his contribution was to our title winning season. That is his legacy. I’ll also remember him for his excellent performance against against Atlético Madrid. Thanks for all Leo.

Don't think a player has ever left the club with so much goodwill coming from the fans.  Good luck Leo   ."4 - 0 to the one-man team".
