Islam Slimani to Fenerbahce (Loan)

I do hope he finds his scoring boots sooner than later, because it's imperative for him to have a great season on loan at Fenerbahçe.

They need to take him on a permanent deal so badly. :D

The 'hate' follows Slimani.

Ghost Man Islam Slimani!

F.Bahçe'ın performance against the cause of the reaction of the Slimani against Trabzon also played the losses.

The Algerian football player, who caused a penalty in favor of the opponent, could not even shoot a single shot in 90 minutes.

Only 17 hits in the game, Slimani, Twitter's most talked to the list.

Here are some of the comments on social media: "Slimani, take a head ball, a man late, do a run, do something", "one of the worst strikers that have come to Fenerbahce Slimani", "Slimani'ye to be given a further loss of time" , "Send Slimani and Frey off-line", "Are you looking for Slimani and Ayew a lot?"

4% goal accuracy lol. The worst striker in the league. These are things you don't want to hear about your record 30M striker. The guy is destined to leave on a free when his contract expires.

The way things are going for him, I'm not sure anyone will pay that much.

He is literally so shit and people still want him to come back and play for us lol

Probably because our two back up centre forwards have something like 18 goals in 130 odd games I'd guess.

Regardless, it does show how threadbare we are in attack when having Slim back from loan seems like a viable option.

How did it go so wrong?!?

Is the Portuguese league really that bad?!?

If you look look at our purchases from the league, you can hardly say we’ve had value for money. Silva, Slimani, Periera, Ricardo, Ferreira, Vitor ..... doesn’t look great.

If you spread the net wider, Ronaldo, Nani, Carvalho, Ferrerr, Deco, ..... many more??

No. It's our recruitment from it that's been abysmal. Given the recent interest in Neves, you can likely add him to the list of successful purchases from Portuguese clubs.

You've missed by far the worst of the lot too - Joao Moreno. Those were the days lol

Would rather have Ulloa back.

Or De Vries for that matter.

I think the main reason we really got him was to just keep Mahrez happy and as soon as it became obvious we had lost that effort in January we finally decided to get rid & loaned Slim out

He had ability, he showed that in flashes and in the World Cup. But his attitude stinks I think. I get the feeling he isn't prepared to tuff it out and bust a gut to make things work in his favour. He was a big fish in Lisbon, but has been poor ever since.
