How would you say our season so been so far?

Obviously 6 points out of 9 ain't bad but personally i'm disappointed in the performances.

After the Old Trafford game I was expecting more against Wolves and Southampton in terms of performances.

I don’t think we can really judge until 10-15 games have gone

Agree, far too early to say.

we've played 3 games - won 2 lost 1.

not bad at all - bit nervy at times but I think we're going to get much better. spirit in the team seems to be good, imo.

season has barely started though - bit soon to be doing a round-up.

Can't argue with the results.

Performances against Wolves and what i've seen against Southampton need to be better.

Whilst we played well in the 1st half against Man Utd (I thought we were abit poor in the 2nd) the result was very frustrated and was the performance really anything to be that bouyed about given their start and how they are playing at the moment? Arguably i'm posing the question, did they make us look good?

I don’t think we have played our strongest 11 and we have 6 points out of 9. I expected defeat at Old Trafford, a win at home to Wolves and a draw at Southampton- so slightly better than expected.

Think we will get better and better with our young guns gaining experience.

7th is a realistic goal for the season.

Got good results, but I don't think the performances have been particularly inspiring so far. I think all three games could've gone either way - United was our best performance, but we scraped by in the second two.

Yes, we got the results, but we got a little bit of fortune; playing like that won't get us relegated, but I think performances need to pick up a little if we want to improve on last seasons finishing position.

Some positive signs though - we've shown we're capable of Puel-Ball, but we need to show it consistently.

Decent article, I enjoy your blog.

I think it's too early to make any snap judgements, but 6 points out of 9, 7th in the table, scoring at least a goal every game, Vardy off the mark, Maddison off the mark, seeing out a win with ten men, a comeback victory, youth players throughout the side and two of our new boys looking the part already... it could definitely be a lot worse. Imagine if we signed Fred for 60M :giggle: !

When Puel took charge, I asked a Southampton supporting mate what he thought. His exact words were " He'll turn you into a solid mid table team but you won't he good to watch"..... Seems fairly spot on so far although it is very early in the season.

Admittedly, I'm a little worried offensively. We are lacking in attacking midfielders (barring Maddisons bright start) and our new style of play looks like it COULD isolate our biggest attacking threat in Vardy.

On the other hand, we look like we're going to be a hard team to beat.

Good article . If you are writing for publications, you should use the apostrophe accurately.

Unlucky at old trafford

Lucky against wolves.- especially the start.

Lucky against Southampton.

A bit like  under P Taylor when we momentarily topped the league then went on to lose to Wycombe and get relegated the next season.

Some ropey performances but you can't argue with 2 wins out of 3.

I think this team has a long way to go but we are on an upward trajectory which is the most important thing for me.  With the young players we've got, we could build something really special here.

I'm not a fan of Puel or his football at all, but he's doing exactly what we should be doing so far and beating the midtable teams. Until he stops doing that he won't get any stick from me.

That's like saying Jo Brand is a bit like Claudia Schiffer.
