At the moment we are on 6 points and twice we have pushed a bigger side than ourselves very close, so we are arguably unlucky not to be on at least 8 points out of 12 points in that respect.

I'd be looking to win those home games try to knick as many points as possible on the road. It is conceivable we could 25+ points but I'd be pretty pleased with 20 odd points.

Bournemouth ( A ) - We never do well against these. They come back from 0-2, scoring twice during added on time to win. Foxestalk performs it's annual "Maybe Eddie Howe would be a good manager for us" routine.  Lose 3-2.

Huddersfield ( H ) - The "Ben Hamer derby" sees two own goals scored by Wes Morgan after Amartey is sent off. Bloodcurdling screams are emitted from Foxestalk. Lose 0-2.

Newcastle ( A ) - They shithouse a last minute before half-time winner, which slides in off Ayoze Perez's hair.  Lose 1-0.

Everton ( H ) - Their moneybags signings come good. Lose 1-2.

Arsenal ( A ) - Özil rediscovers his mojo and Arsenal's season is kick-started.  Lose 2-0.

West Ham ( H ) - They're awful, they have no cohesion. They are getting relegated, so naturally they turn it around against us. Lose 1-3.

Cardiff ( A ) -   Warnock's anti-football sees them play for another 0-0, then they are awarded a very dodgy late penalty by that nice Mr Moss. Lose 1-0.

Burnley ( H ) - Our team with only 3 tall players meets Burnley's no nonsense

giants and the ball hardly touches the ground as we concede 3 goals from corners. Dyche mentions transfer budgets in his gloating post match interview.  Lose 1-3.

Brighton ( A ) - A Knockaert brace, as our 4-6-0 formation flops. Lose 2-0.

Watford ( H ) - Watford, by now 3 points clear at the top, squeak a victory, like we did to them when we were pushing for the league. Lose 0-1.

Fulham ( A ) - Schürrle the dagger and Mitrovic the bludgeon show [and here, at last, comes the point of this post] that THERE REALLY ARE NO EASY GAMES AT THIS LEVEL. Lose 2-0.

lol  Everything on that list is plausible ... except Özil rediscovering his mojo ...

So, zero points,then.

Or maybe 33 points.

Looking forward to finding out.

One of my fave ever posts. Funny and daft but with an important message. Cannot believe people are talking about us walking all over teams just because it's not the top 4, no games in this league are easy at all.

We had an easy run of fixtures last season which was going to secure us our Europa League spot if you remember.

Leicester fans should know better than anybody that you can't predict anything in football.

I would say the soft spot is 20 points. We will drop some imo but 26 points from 15 games ain't half bad. It leaves us with 21 games. Worst case scenario is hitting 46 points by the end of the season, and the best (imo) is somewhere in the 60's (which would be great and and a very possible European spot)

But if we run the table on this 11 game scenario, we could be looking at 39 points with 21 games in hand.

I think all the home games are winnable, even Watford, who’ll stumble eventually. Our away form will determine what kind of season we have.

I actually rather think it is our home form that will determine what kind of season we have...

It was pointed out by a podcast that you’d think teams in Leicester’s position would go all out for winning their 13 home games against the rest outside of the top six.

Thats 39 points - you are then only about another ten to fifteen points onto finishing 7th or 8th

What a horror show. I think I've got selective amnesia because i didn't remember that 5-0 drubbing by Palace, until now. Just goes to show how shit we play against average teams. Was expecting 20pts but looking at those results, we'll get around 12-14pts.

I predict we will have some good wins, some frustrating draws and disappointing defeats. Its the nature of the Premier League for teams like us.

This run of games will show whether Puel has solved last years problems, particularly at home.  I think we've improved generally but lack of creativity is still going to be a problem.
