For now they look like a variation on last year’s Liverpool joke, with a jalopy front end bolted onto a Porsche midsection.  If they can acquire (or develop) a finisher, some of the hype will pan out.

Christ, don't use scientific, statistical evidence to back up your argument, people will laugh at you and call you a Spurs fan!

We were picked apart by Bournemouth because our entire defense had off days. We weren't actually that bad before we conceded, but then the floodgates opened and Morgan was sent off. And we still managed to claw back 2 goals whilst a man down, remember.

 

Wolves are a good side, and easily the best of the promoted 3, but 'more than likely will finish above us'? Nah. They might, but I wouldn't be as sure about it as you seem to be. Aside from the Bournemouth game, we've narrowly lost twice against title challenging teams, on both occasions missing our main striker for most/all of the game. We've also won 3 games we would have expected to take the points from, including taking 3pts off the aforementioned Wolves. And we've still got partnerships developing over the pitch.

 

We'll finish top 8, imo. Wolves to take 9/10th.

If you hadn't noticed..Wolves have already built and accumulated a good quality squad of players.

At present an un-proven PL squad,but that doesn't mean it lack potential!!!

Away from the Banter..a neutrals dark horse for top 8-6.That presently seems they can more than hold their own.

 

A True Leicester fan..especially must recognise underdog attributes,and not take on the shi*t that others dished out in our direction.

I like Wolves and their manager,It looks an honest group...mind you I am weird,I like Burnley a nd Bournemouth,and respect also their 

Fight and spirit,in this PL....because you see...we are all the "nobodies". There are no different levels of nobodies...

 

Ps...well there are Nobodies with PL titles.:D

 

I did say I had no idea! I by no means underestimate Wolves and I think they've played some decent football this season.

Credit where it is due. I think Wolves have some amazing quality and are looking to play the way we are moving in a much tougher league. If they hang on to their manager and build on their squad with their rich owners, I think they are going to be much better than some of the sides consistently scrap at the bottom of the table like Southampton.

I've been a foxes fan ever since the Jock Wallace days and we have never had it so good. Reading some of the salty comments on here about our team underperforming or wanting Puel out or comments about Wolves fans, shows how delusional many have become since that miracle year.

:scarf:All the big boys got a wake-up call and were able to pull in major reinforcements, which we were for whatever reason unable to do. Hats off to Wolves for having a great manager who has pulled the strings to get in some amazing quality which doesn't look out of place against anyone in the PL. I expect they'll finish easily in the top half. We are similar in that we play some cracking football at times, but are not converting enough of our chances, but I'm happy with the direction we are going. If we all stick behind the team and manager, I've got a feeling we challenge the big boys at their own game in a year or two. People seem to underestimate the challenge in transitioning from the old guard to a new younger team with a style that can compete regularly at the top table. I know we have a leaky defence and could do with being sharper in front of goal, but I'm consistently seeing slick attacking football which I expect will be more consistent as they team grow together. Remember ' you don't win anything with kids'.  :scarf:

been singing the Harry Maguire song in my head all day in anticipation for another Tuesday night fixture. exciting game tonight, both teams will go for it I imagine with around 7-8 changes for each. come on city...road to Wembley begins!

Yeah Maddison and Maguire the only two I'd leave out. Maddison gets a kicking and tends to fade late on in games anyway.

So if we do play a strong team tonight and we look a bit leggy against Newcastle (and don’t win), will posters come on here complaining about the strong team in the cup????

 

just trying to alert everyone to the ‘wise after the event ‘ crew in case our ‘strong ‘ line up comes unstuck and we play silva/Iborra/Okazaki on Saturday and come unstuck again .............

Not me. I'd take a few lacklustre league performances if it meant a proper go at winning a cup- it's what everyone has been crying out for.

come off it you know full well it'd be jumped on if we don't win Saturday by the Puel outers (I don't know if you fall into that camp or not), hell he could make every change they want him to do and we lose they'd still blame him

Could be a tough game against easily the best team to ever play the game but I think we should be able to scrape a 10-1 defeat and leave with our heads held high.

I won't, I want us to win a cup over finishing 7th if 6th is unrealistic. Roll the dice by playing a strong team in the cups mixed in with a few fringe players.

We didn't look like a team that woUldale get into trouble after the man utd game....but we did after always being in games it just didn't happen.
