I don't think Ndidi is quite what he was last season. Perhaps a few of the criticisms of the defence (Wes doesn't deserve some of the shit he gets on here) may be due to his poor tracking.

Watching MotD and wandering how on earth some people in the match thread were criticising Vardy's penalty. It was immaculate.

Maguire is a bloody lovely big monster of a spade faced farm boy.

Anyone ever criticising Vardy should be immediately banned from here

That is very poor trolling.

This is a guy who has been cutting jokes and laughing this season.

The most charismatic manager we've ever had.

Puel > Ranieri > Pearson in that order.

Tend to agree with all of this. Long term it's got to be 3-4-1-2 but Puel just doesn't like 3 at the back. A midfield diamond is another option but he'll probably keep it as it is whilst we are picking up results.

4-3-1-2?

Schmeichel

Amartey, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell

Mendy, Iborra, Ndidi

Maddison

Vardy, Iheancho

Only concern is the right flank as Amartey is a defensive RB. But we can’t trust Pereira in a 4 at the back. 3-4-1-2 would solve everything.

How is Ranieri in the middle of that? And where is O'Neill?

Maguire MOTM? Should have given away a blatant penalty and the last ditch tackle was only because he was miles out of position originally and they got in behind him?

Are you actually serious? It was never a penalty in the memory of man! Perez fouled Maguire and then threw himself on the floor. He was lucky he didnt get booked the cheating little t*at! Maguire scored a goal and won the pen for the other goal and was a constant nuisance to them from set pieces, and although you may be right that he was out of position when he made the tackle, the fact is he made the tackle and prevented them from scoring. Maguire was immense today!

I can't wait until Mendy sticks one in, got a feeling he's going to further his excellent season with a very important goal soon.

Thats what she said.

Couldn't follow the match, as we were at a motor show in Dublin, and then She who must be obeyed decided we had to go shopping at Liffey Valley.  So was listening in the car, leaving Dublin and driving west, and you know you're a City fan, as your heart starts beating faster, waiting for the result, which you know could have gone t*ts up or brilliantly.    Eventually they went to St James Park...I'm not sure it's legal to take your hands off the wheel at 120 kph, go red in the face, fist pump, and slap your wife on the leg.    Anyway, a satisfactory end to the day!

You dirty dog getting a bj whilst driving 120kph

Could care lesa how shite newcastle are it was a good game for us and builds momentum for everton. Lets thrash them!

Why is radio Leicester obsessed with the fact Maddison is starting wide to cut in centrally rather than play Albrighton? For a good 15 mins thats all they spoke about fgs

because they are obsessed with Marc Albrighton, to listen to them leaving Albrighton out is akin to leaving out Messi.

I don't get it, he is a fine player but an average premier league winger, very useful but hardly undroppable, they also ignore that the majority of his crosses are as follows, he gets the ball about 20-30 yards out, cuts back onto his right foot and floats a cross 3 foot above Vardy's head which the CB clears with ease.

Good performance but we are still lacking pace at CB and need more forward passing through the lines from this area,  as opposed to this short stuff side to side. Many positives though and great to see Armatey and Mendy performing at this high level!

No pleasing some people.

Professional performance. Sometimes some of our play was excellent, others we were a bit naive, especially some of the square passing which led to possible interceptions or hospital balls. It's what I expect of a very young team. Otherwise I thought we were very impressive all over the pitch.

Problem is the paint quickly flakes off, I needed a more permanent solution. That's why I voted brexit. Blue passports for all.

I thought it was a very coherent performance yesterday. One thing that I think should be noted is that the team looked very confident; keeping the ball in tight areas, looking up and finding a teammate. It looks a settled side and it would appear the reservations the fans, myself included, harbour about Puel are not shared by the players.

Did anyone see Merson’s comments? He was disappointed in Newcastle for not turning up as we’re not a good side........

We are all of a sudden a good side? By beating Huddersfield and Newcastle? Not everyone has forgotten the total embarrassment at Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago. I’d say we’ve got a way to go still until you can we are a good side... realistically teams like Newcastle look at teams like us at home and mark it down for 3 points in their fight to stay up

Just out of interest, do the "Puel out brigade" just not comment on here when we win or do they change their minds like they do their underwear and say everything is ok when we win but then shout their nonsense when we lose/dont play well/concede a goal/dont play attractive enough football.

I admit that towards the end of last season, especially after the Palace debacle, i was calling for Puels head but when the owners backed him in the summer, so did I. So far this season I have seen nothing, other than a disappointing result and performance against Bournemouth, that suggests we would be better off without Puel right now. His recruitment has been sound so far and we have 12 points from 7 games, which if we kept up that level, we would finish on 65 points which would have been 6th last season.

Puel will not always get it right, but we have a very young team and he is integrating the youth team with the 1st team which we have never really seen before at Leicester. With the likes of Choudhury and Barnes coming through as well as Chilly, Maddison and Gray, we have some excellent young players, 2 England internationals and 3 potential England internationals.

Stop the Puel out nonsense and try and enjoy a new chapter in the LCFC history as we will never win the league again!

Complete nonsense.

This "puel out brigade" you speak of is actually a lot more consistent than you give credit. I've said it like you last season will continue to say it until the day he's gone. Why? Because I'm not daft enough to "say everything is ok" just because the only sides we have beaten this far are absolutely horseshit. That clearly impressed you so fair enough you've changed your mind and backed him just "because the owners have". Congratulations. Perhaps they will send you a gold star.

We won yesterday that's great, 3 points. I'm happy when we win. I'm loyal to the club not to puel. I don't think he's taking us anywhere it's just my honest opinion mate. Lay off with this telling people what opinions to express, you know the majority of those backing him now will turn when we lose the next game, its how tickle people are.

I'm convinced it will be 33.3  % each way WLD come season end under Puel.

have a nice day

Yup, they just babbled on about it instead of actually talking about the game we just won.

He's a great player for us, work ethic is incredible, but Maddison is more of a play maker, which is what we need.

There wasn’t much wrong with yesterday.

I sat watching it with a delicious bottle of wine in a posh hotel in Murcia.

My mate hates Puel as well - but he also prefers Okazaki over Maddison.

As confortable as we’ll ever see in this league - almost back to title winning performances.

That’s all.

The only part of that nonsense I agree with is if we now go on to lose the next three, the tide will turn straight back again

The irony of you saying my post is complete nonsense when everything you post on here is nonsense!

But yeh you keep thinking we should keep sacking managers! Who next, Benitez? Yeh hes doing a great job! And if we did sack Puel now and the new manager lost a few you'd be asking for them to be sacked by christmas! God im glad we don't have people like you running our club!
