Fairly pleased with that. Would have liked to have created more from open play but I'm not complaining. Maguire MOTM by a mile won the pen, goal saving tackle and scored as well. special mention for Mendy, superb, Kante-esque. If he hadn't got injured Claudio might still be here. Chilwell got forward well  as well,Amartey did well and Morgan didn't put a foot wrong.

 

I thought the subs were right as well. No complaints from me tonight.

Against a team who can't defend and coached by one the worst manager ever who has no idea what he is doing, his team had the impressive number of one shot on target (from a fringe attempt 60 meters away from the goal).

Credit where it's due, I thought Amartey was solid, other than the dodgy back-pass. Maguire awesome. Weird game - after the first goal, we never looked like losing, but we also had very little creativity. Clearly set piece goals are our thing!

Not quite fair though. I'm not a huge Benitez fan, but our second XI is much better than their first.
