My favourite Leicester player of all time. Absolutely love the man BUT not looking sharp at the moment. Don’t think the suspension helped shortly after starting the season but should be settled now. Not just his goal scoring but his general form seems to have dipped. What do we all think?

The one on one was not an easy chance, he had Keane all over him and Pickford rushing out. He didn’t have his best game today and will never recreate the form of 15/16 but he is still an incredible player and if fit must start.

Should've done better with that chance because he's a quality finisher and should also have created a chance with an excellent pull-back yet nobody bothered to support him in the box.

He was at his most prolific when he was playing on the last man and we were playing to his strengths. Now, he’s coming a lot deeper and seeing less through balls and balls into the channels.

People are hugely missing how effective Zouma was today. Cut out and shut down everything thrown at him, which is one reason vardy was quiet today.

To be fair yes he did score against Newcastle but he did miss quite a few chances that he would normally score all day long. He does seem off sorts!

He’s had a few poor games this season, he’s barely played so it’s still too early to judge but worth keeping an eye on.

Agreed, Zouma dealt with Vardy well on the whole.

Clearly carrying a knock after getting clattered last week, then Davies did the same with an awful foul with no intention of playing the ball. Vardy needs a 90 minute strike partner on a similar wavelength and/or some decent through balls to run onto but that’s not the way Puel sets our team up, one of the best finishers I’ve seen at the club and hopefully more goals to come from him....

to be fair Shelvey nearly broke his leg in the Newcastle game and he was a doubt to start today.

He's been scythed a few times this season- Gosling at Bournemouth and Davies today as well.

There was a chance he wouldn't even start yesterday due to a shin injury sustained last week, so for sure he was not 100% on his game.

He did miss some chances, but then doesn't every striker or player have a 'not so good game?'

I'd like to bet you won't see these sort of posts on the Barcelona forums when Messi has an off day :P

(And before being picked up on this comment, i'm not comparing Vardy to Messi-just saying)

I feel for Vardy, he’s getting caught offside a lot because he isn’t getting the ball played through to him quick enough. Vardy proved against Huddersfield that he hasn’t lost anything, he is still explosive over 9 yards, which is all you need as a striker. He’s frustrated at the moment it’s clear, he’s gone from having an absolute work horse as a partner to a lazy useless pile of shit. He’s pissing in the wind at the moment. As for his missed effort sometimes when you aren’t getting as many opportunities as you usually do you can snap at things, I think he’s just over cooked it due to his frustration.

He missed two good chances at Bournemouth (prior to us going behind) and one at Manchester United too. This whole "we don't have that many chances" thing doesn't add up because we miss good chances.
