LCFC Adidas Adult's Stadium Parka

Recommended Posts

£120 for this LCFC Adidas Adult's Stadium Parka coat is such a rip off? What do we guys think? How can they rip the fans off in the winter months with such a flimsy coat? £80-85 is more than enough for it! I was shocked to see the price of this when I walked into the fanstore yesterday for a roam after the game! Just because it's Adidas! Ripping us off!

No one's forcing you to buy it, mate. Prices for shirts/merch are ridiculous the minute you get into the prem as they can charge stupid money, knowing us mugs will buy it

They charge £50 for a thin t shirt with our badge and the words king power on it and you expect the to sell a coat for £80? lol

Yes it's expensive but if they don't sell any at that price they'll soon drop it.

It is what it is unfortunately and it’s the same up and down the country.  I promise you our club isn’t the worst.

I work for a University and last year I volunteered to take a group of new international students for a tour at old Trafford, and honestly the prices for some of the crap on sale there were eye watering. However, these students were paying it without a second thought because it’s a way of buying into the club you support. People need to realise rightly or wrongly football clubs are businesses, with the retail division often actually run seperately to the football side of things, so if people are willing to buy a £120 coat they’ll be selling it.

20% off online orders until midnight tonight, plus if you have any rewards would bring the price down, just ordered a walk out top for £28.00. (Training wear only)

So it's either wait around for sales or don't buy it and not everyone has a spare £100 odd lying round even after discounts. It's a plain rip off.

£120 for that! Scandalous!!!

Not even a proper parka, no furry bit around the hood, no target on the back & not a Who or Jam badge in sight.;)

You could always sew a Skol or Holsten Pils bar towel over the king power advert.

If you’re under 30 you’d have never seen a bar towel on a bar, far better than those plastic tray things to sew on your coat.

Still have a couple in the garage.

I think it's fair to say as aesthetic as some of the stuff is, it is completely ruined by the King Power logo on the back, making you look more like an employee on a shift than anything else.

I was keen for one of the training polo tops until I saw King Power plastered over the back and I had exactly the same thought so I didn't get it.

It's awful.

And King Power must learn culturally what people living in the uk will and won't be seen alive wearing. After season 1, hopefully the lack of training wear sales will tell them this as rubbish profits and possibly losses will I'm hoping, be the indicator and mechanism for change.
