Vardy was offside before he took the shot which Bamba handled.

The assistant didn't give it and Probert had about 3 bodies in front of him so couldn't see the handball.

Really !!!

You want to bring facts into this discussion.

That is never going to fly.

That’s all very well Geoff but how did he give a corner then???.  It’s surely either a goal kick cos he didn’t see the ball strike the defender or it’s a pen cos he does ???.

Vardy should've been flagged offside.

When he wasn't, the ref should've given a penalty and a red card for Bamba.

He was clearly guessing that it had been deflected over, hence the corner.

In retrospect I’m glad we didn’t get the decision as everyone would have said we were ‘given’ the win as the assistant missed the offside.

quite bizarre at at the time though ........

Feel a bit sorry for Probert…. You could see the “oh sh*t “ written all over his face when Demarai took his shirt off…. Real touch of class from Puel to let him off the hook afterwards…

Sol Bamba desicion is a different kettle of fish…

I thought afterwards what they should have done was ALL taken their shirts off to reveal the Vichai message underneath. Then seen what Probert did... he surely wouldn’t have booked every one of them?

Likely he would. Got to be a right jobsworth to do it - if he hadn't, every fan except the Nigel's (you know the ones - Trousers up to their chest, nose hairs meeting there as well saying in a nasally voice "well actually rule 12.b paragraph 4 states...") would be praising him for applying common sense and humanity to the situation.

And if he does we are defending a 1-0 lead with a man sent off and the other ten all on yellow cards!

Puel should have made sure no one took shirts off until the final whistle -full stop.

The surge of adrenalin when a player scores a goal .... add in the circumstances - forget any pre game instructions  .....

Btw I remembered that the book only applied on the pitch. So the player can do grays outside the field without getting booked.

Forget where I found this but most likely during world cup

Is any such rule exist?

Bookings can be administered for offences on and off the pitch.

Just watching a video of our goal anyone notice/hear the amount of boos when our players celebrate? Is that the Cardiff fans? If so seems harsh?

I criticised the Cardiff fans for it elsewhere - when the players went to approach the away end, they all started booed and getting annoyed at the prolonged (yet perfectly understandable) celebration.

Vardy was in an offside position but could only have been flagged as offside if Maddison had passed it to him. Maddison chose to shoot from close range which was deflected to Vardy and therefore the goal would have stood.

This is actually a brilliant ‘Team’ goal.

Mendy > Maddison > Gray > Ndidi > Maddison > Vardy > Chilwell > Mendy > Albrighton > Chilwell > Gray

10 passes between 7 players. Nice.

It's good to see isn't it. Especially as, lets not forget, pre-season the question was about where the goals and assists were come from once Mahrez left. As it happens they are coming from everywhere. Sure it would be nice to have more of them, but it's getting there.
