Hmmm. Tricky one. You could see Probert didn't want to book him. Flip side is bearing in mind how inconsistent refs are, at least he was correct by the letter of the law.

Nahhhhh. ..... he was a GRADE A TWAT!

Shame he didn’t follow the letter of the law with the penalty and red card, how could he miss that?

Exactly!

Being a good referee doesn't mean following rules to the letter of the law. That's why referees like Collina were so good, because they used common sense to allow games to flow and he would play the advantage. Not only did he miss a clear and obvious red card and denying a goal scoring opportunity, but then for the second half kick-off he made Cardiff take it THREE times because it was too early / players were encroaching / some other random reason. Honestly, who cares!? It gets the game going and it's not like it's a goal scoring opportunity straight from kick off. He's just one of those control freak personality referees that are not good for the professional game. England had zero referees at the World Cup and you can't say that wasn't the right decision.

Probert has always been a 'letter of the law guy'... remember when he called the ref over to send of Wenger at Old Trafford for kicking a plastic bottle!! Classic

Great performance in difficult circumstances at a tough opponent. These next few months will be mentally and physically draining for the team but it's clear the spirit is and always has been strong.

Respect to Puel for helping them through the most difficult week in the club's history and ending it with a win.

After this week and the way the whole club has conducted itself surely there can be no one calling for Puel to be replaced, he has stepped up this week big time, as has everybody at the club.

What an amazing day! Grinded our a great win for the boss. And what a great touch from Cardiff with food and drink before the game and the banner that came over to our end at kick off. Class!!

Probert should have taken the card out to indicate he hadn’t  missed it and then put it back in his pocket. I actually thought he half smiled when gray scored - he probably was told he had screwed up missing the pen. He did blow up ten secs early when they had an attacking long throw aswell ..........

If that's the case then fair enough but they didn't show that on the NBC stream i was watching and Phil Thompson was saying it was a penalty and did not mention Vardy being off-side.

I'll tell you what, Demarai looks like he's beefed up a bit, proper hench.

Really pleased he got the goal, gets way more stick than he deserves. X

it can take some players until 24/26 until they hit there full potential, as long as he gets game time then he will continue to improve... he looks much more of a threat this season and goals will help boost his confidence.

Same could be said for Nididi today passing was much improved as well as his all round play had a good game.

we have loads of potential

One of the strangest but most admirable Leicester City performances I’ve seen. Our lads were brilliant and Vichai would have been smiling with thumbs up no doubt. It wasn’t until the end of the game that I appreciated how well we set up to win... tactics just seemed 2nd best to a pure will to win for our owner today. Very proud as always to be Leicester.

I think he smiled because he knew he had to give a card by the letter of the law, he evened it out second half I think tbf to him and like you say blew up early and if he didn't see the handball then fair enough but that's why VAR is required

They pulled it out at half time saying so on the stream I was on.
