The Daily Mail yesterday, in case you missed it.

That's not even Aiyawatt

I noticed that they also printed this:

20181104_133136.thumb.jpg.d94e2f32bd1b445885090048ea53cf5d.jpg

That photograph was taken after Sol Bamba saved JV's shot on the line, not after Demi was booked. Demi even said that he didn't care about the booking.

Not big on accuracy at the DM are they?

A word for Claude as well. Wherever you sit on the whole Puel in / out debate, I'm sure everyone would agree that he's managed this week brilliantly.  He's not said too much or too little, spoke beautifully when he did speak and then played a bit of a blinder by bringing in some of the 2016 heroes - the likes of Wes, Marc, Demi and Danny who he knew would be desperate to win today. He also managed the emotion really well.

Well done Claude

Great post. His statement before the press conference was beautifully dignified especially in a language he struggles with. He was right to bring the 15/16 players back into the fold and I’m glad the whole playing and coaching staff put on a united front, whosever that decision was.

There were a lot of impressive scenes before and after the Cardiff match IMO the scene when Jamie Vardy embraced Claude Puel in front of the fans was really touching.

Could it be that this was the first time that CP was warmly smiling with his lads.

I think it's the first time fans (And arguably players - certainly publicly) have felt even a slight a connection with him.

People can say it doesn't matter as much as they want but it quite clearly does, people don't want a media monkey such a Holloway which I keep seeing people band about when they take the piss out of people wanting a connection, a rapport even and i'm not sure where that even comes from, just an easy put down I guess.

Very special day to have been a part of yesterday. So proud of our club and our fans were incredible. A fitting tribute.

People lead in different ways, he's captained us to two league titles and the quarters of the champions league and people still question his captaincy.

Not really questioning his captaincy more  stating the fact that hes inconspicuous .

Everything about that game yesterday was outstanding. The players and management staff went above and beyond what was expected of them. To put in a solid performance on the road, never mind win the game, is highly commendable given the circumstances and everyone involved deserves an enormous amount of credit for remaining focussed despite the obvious grief and pain felt.

I'm proud of the fact that the team went and played, and I believe that getting back to playing football and getting a positive result that they could, as a collective group, dedicate to Vichai will have really helped the grieving process and afforded them some comfort.

Well done to all who travelled to support, superb effort. Likewise thank you to Cardiff for being such supportive hosts.

Just watching on MOTD. Say what you want about Wes but he is a leader, delivering that team talk in the huddle and the passion he spoke with.

Proud of all the players, staff and fans today. Next week is going to be just as emotional for everyone involved.

Just wanted to echo this. We each are moved in our own ways, but that little clip on motd of Wes delivering  to the entire staff a pre match rally  did it for me.

I'd love to have a still picture of that.

Really glad that I made the journey yesterday, so poignant but also so special in so many ways.

One thing it did make me think is that after seeing the continuing effects of the tragedy in person yesterday on the faces of fellow Leicester fans along with the staff and players alike, it really does hit home how amazing it is that Torino, United and Chapecoense (I'm sure there may be more, but those 3 are the most well known to me) were ever able to carry on.

Feel a bit sorry for Probert…. You could see the “oh sh*t “ written all over his face when Demarai took his shirt off…. Real touch of class from Puel to let him off the hook afterwards…

Sol Bamba desicion is a different kettle of fish…

Yesterday was such an touching day all round, the Leicester fans did Vichai proud yesterday fantastic support yesterday and was so proud of our vocal support pre and post match. Also got thank the Cardiff City fans they were absolutely fantastic! I don't think I've had so many handshakes within one day.

The match itself very short and brief, a great away win and good performance all round. Gray's goal was well taken and good defensive display from our defence. MAN OF THE MATCH... The fans!

Just want to say well done to all the players and coaching staff and all the fans that travelled to Cardiff to take part in what was an undoubtedly a tough situation. you deserve a lot of praise. it was really great as well to get the win to honour Vichai even though the result didn't matter. what mattered was all the footballing world coming together at such a sad time. the players and the fans did Vichai proud as well as the whole of Leicester.

Vardy was offside before he took the shot which Bamba handled.

The assistant didn't give it and Probert had about 3 bodies in front of him so couldn't see the handball.

I've seen clips of him and the players numerous times in training embracing or having a laugh.

yeah I thought this when I watched the replay of the goal. As Gray runs past him you can see him thinking "oh crap, now i've got to book him". He probably didn't want to, but if he didn't you can imagine the observer with a clipboard marking him down and condemning him to ref a match in League 2 next week!

I think this is my favourite picture since the title win.

In the trophy holding photos you could see Demmy and Ben popping their youthful inexperienced heads up in the background.

Now they're men with England caps stood firmly at the front, with passion in their faces for Vichai, with Marc and Morgan following in the background.

Love it.  Albrighton looking fuchin' gangsta

Nice to see Mendy going mental there aswell

The only way I can describe it, is that it was like taking the lid of a pressure cooker…. We wanted that goal so badly…

i like a good goal celebration as much as the next man, but, everyone went nuts…. Cuddles from all the fans around me…

It’s even more interesting and heartening to see its Evans, Mendy and Ricky towards the front too. Players who haven’t been around long (well Nampalys kind of).

The other interesting thing about the bit at the end was how to affected players like Ibo who stared at ages towards us in the away end
