3 points and a clean sheet, happy days. You can't argue with a 2-0. Maddison's goal was ridiculous and encouraged by another energetic display from Vardy.

Away from that I thought Ricardo was outstanding today in his defensive work - he's improved no end since the October international break and looks much more up to speed with things. Morgan, Evans, Albrighton and Mendy all turned in very strong performances too.

You do know Nacho, that regardless of getting the ball a dangerous tackle is a bookable  offence  ?? ...   and going in and flattening the player with both feet is a dangerous tackle ??? .....      you do know that ?? ...   you must know it ???    ...   go on surely you knew that !! ...   didn’t you ???

With all the tens of millions floating around the premier league I can’t believe how piss poor the quality is!

If we are currently 7th in this league playing week in week out the way we do it doesn’t say much for the rest of them!

Ok, but contact isn't that relevant - if he's two footed and out of control as it looked, Iheanacho dodging it is a lucky escape rather than something to influence the colour of card

Well played, chaps. Picked us apart. We were rubbish.

I dont actually think you were rubbish today. You just didn't score them sitters, and i'm not saying that to be an ass as we are the same when Vardy is not running on all cylinders.

It was a good game.

ps Amazing effort with the banner :D

So nice to make my way home with that warm glow of satisfaction that only a Leicester win can bring.

Mendy, Ricardo and Albrighton were all very good and Vardy looked more like his old self. Great defensive effort too from Wes and Evans, giving Kasper practically nothing to do.

Just one (recurring) gripe: If only Ndidi could pass like he tackles....

Great win though and let's hope the switch to counterattack - i.e what we are best at - is not just a one-off.

Didn’t actually think Chilwell had a good game but not a concern as he usually does.   Mendy getting better and Mad moment Maddison is a real gem.   Also, it seems Iborra is still in the reckoning but Silvas future looks a bit Shakey ....

Very good result. Good move leading to the penalty and a great 2nd goal which was top class.

At times we were very sloppy and though we did well to win the ball back we simply gave the ball away almost immediately. Especially in dangerous areas close to our penalty area. Better teams would have punished us but you can only beat what's in front of you and that is what we did, pretty efficiently.

Have to say Morgan had a good game.

Nididi needs passing practice.

You mean it doesn't fit with your constant complaints about Claude.

I'm obviously easily pleased by a 2 nil win, and currently 7th place ?

Bit negative given what I actually posted, lots to work on with the performance which was poor, another day we'd have lost, but important to get the win and can be the springboard to overall improvement.

I'm no Puel fan but so far he's doing a good job, we're 7th and on course for finishing the year in the top half! We're still in the league cup, the fa cup to come. So no reason at the moment to face the sack. Put it this way if we have situation where come christmas we're 7th and looking good for a europa league finish and then come May we've finished the season in the bottom half then questions must be back.

Today was a good performance against a really good Watford team.

Funny that, everyone sees the game differently. I felt that was a very deserved win. One of our best performances, and a good performance. Always looked like we could nick another goal

Do people here seriously think Puel doesnt endorse counter attacks or something? We cant counter attack in every game, I dont know how that isnt obvious by this point. The "puel ball" people moan about comes from teams sitting back and our players incapable of making space or creating chances. Watford did the opposite to most teams coming here and luckily all the players were well up for it and ripped them apart.

Sorry to disagree but I didn't think you were rubbish, not 2nd half anyway. Yes, your finishing was rubbish but you were positive, creative and had players up in support of attacks. You had us pinned and defending resolutely.

That wasn’t bad.

Mendy is getting better and better, Richardo has got up to pace and improved considerably, Evans looked solid. That assist from Albrighton!!!

We just need to stop giving the ball away and doing the oppositions job for them. At  least make them win the ball back.

Has Puel bought a bad player during his time here ?

Like i said in the match thread, if it had been one of ours that got the red, i'd have felt really hard done by.

That was a clear red, two footed out of control. He may have got the ball and not Iheanacho but he was out of control.

Iheanacho's reaction on the other hand was embarrassing. Absolutely no need to milk it like that

Well in that case why did Nacho roll around like a shot dog ....

You can still get hurt without any contact from the other player.

That's a good point. We're great on the counter, everybody in the land knows this and Puel to his credit has maintained that threat and got us playing to these strengths where possible, all while building a younger team. He's done some things very well.

However todays game suited us and he still seems clueless on how to get his team breaking down deep set defences and things like selling off all of our physical forwards and leaving Vardy alone up front against defensive teams is where he falls down. If he could work out a  set up that allows us to win those cagey games I think he'll answer a lot of doubts about his style of football.
