Certain players just look the mustard from the get-go, he's one of them. The 3rd goal when he ran thru the Fulham center-half, Bale definitely. Messi one can always hope. His 1v1 skills are off the charts. I guarantee you Rodgers dreams about him.

Langston Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Moore on the brink of the sack? I'm amazed by that if it's true. Patchy form but the job there isn't as simple as just bringing them back up, they're doing alright all things considered.
Guest WarehamFox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Look's like he could be the next thing! Please

Ric Flair Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 What's very pleasing is Rodgers after the game said they have realised very quickly that Barnes is most dangerous out wide and moving inside, rather than starting centrally like he did at Watford last week. I was worried Rodgers might not utilize him properly but that's now unfounded thankfully. If he can improve his first touch then he will be a phenomenal player, the first goal isnt far away and then there will be no stopping him. So proud he's ours.
kingston_fox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Such a bonus to see raw talent in the team. Before Jan we were calling out for someone to make a difference and since coming back he's offered that and more. It's rare to give a player like that the opportunity in the Prem but as we saw from the last goal today, that unpredictability can create chances. Genuinely think that once he gets a goal he's going to be banging them in for fun until the end of the season
Corky Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Great effort that was magnificently saved then great strength and composure to set Vardy up for the third.
ScouseFox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 i back him to score a hat trick every week and one day he’s gonna convert all the chances he gets and we gon be rich
sdb Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Our most exciting player already. Streets ahead of Gray, Diabate and possibly even Maddison for me already. Seems very grounded too which is a massive plus.
cal21212121 Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 That 1-2-3-4 he did with maddison was something else
WigstonWanderer Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 A player that causes excitement whenever he’s on the ball. Great start to the Prem for him.

He won't have many easier defences than this to play against, but showed some really good touches and skill, plus his work for Vardy's second was excellent. Puel may not have been popular, but recalling Barnes was one of his best decisions. Some may say that not using him from the start of the season instead of buying Ghezzal is one of his worst decisions...

I hated Puel with a burning passion, but even I think pinning that on him is too far. Prior to his time at WBA I hadn't seen anything to suggest he could have performed at this level, that loan move was perfect for him and perfect for us. He wouldn't have progressed the same had he stayed.
Clever Fox Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 He's been excellent since coming into the team. Showing measured improvement every game. I loved the way he held of the Fulham defenders at times while using the ball sensibly. Provided he stays fit I think he's in the team to stay.
Guest Markyblue Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 He's gonna be a player no doubt. Give him time and some patience and we have a jewel.
Happy Fox Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 He just shrugged off that Fulham player with ease, he is really is a top prospect, and I am looking forward to watching his progress.
ElusiveEd Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 What odds do you think I'd get now with a speculative punt on Barnes getting a future full England cap? I reckon it might be worth sticking a silly tenner on that.

That assist yesterday showed everything, strength, skill, pace and then composure. He’s got a big future, hopefully with us.
