Guest seanfox778 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 3 points please Leicester! Looking forward to this.
Lincolnshire Fox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 I have absolutely no complaints about that line up... I know I am being greedy, but I would love to see Harvey have a good 20 mins when we are 3-0 up
EnderbyFox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Shane Long starts upfront for them, 2 goals in his last 50- that's Okazaki levels of goal scoring. Bound to bag at least 1 today
Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Just now, Ian Nacho said: Still don't like the fact were playing 3 defensive midfielders at home against a team in the bottom 3. Not much else choice though in terms of options. I agree but if it means that essentially the 3 up front can focus solely on stretching Southampton and getting in behind then I'm fine about it. If those 3 are free to attack and not worry about tracking back etc then that could be a very effective tactic. Depends how high up the pitch the midfield 3 can win the ball tbh.
STUHILL Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Rather have no CM on the bench at all, than a fully fit Silva. 100% he will never play again for us, which I think is a shame when you see him persisting with underperforming players like Iheanacho and Gray.

I'd have personally gone with Ghezzal over Albrighton but happy with the formation. I imagine we will see Barnes and Ghezzal second half when its still 0-0

Farrington fox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Should be strong enough to win this. If we don’t, and fail to start on the front foot, surely questions need to asked.
KFS Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 When one of the most exciting things about being a Leicester fan is checking if Sean got it right at 2pm...

Fox in the North Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Think aside from Evans being injured and Barnes currently being an unknown commodity in the first team (for us in the prem) it seems to be Puel’s first choice starting eleven. Fingers crossed Barnes gets on and kicks on from West Brom!
daverollo Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Not unhappy with that starting 11, will be expecting the full backs to be bombing on and almost playing as wingers in support of the front 3 with cover provided by our midfield. Wouldn't be surprised if at some stage Puel does what he did in the Man City game and Hamza moves out wide right and switch to 4231 with Maddison moving in more centrally and changes in 2nd half with Barnes/Gray coming on - ahead of Ghezzal please!

kingfox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Happy with that, we can push Choudhury further forward as we've done before if we have to.
Tanya Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Interesting formation against a team that will park the bus. Intrigued to see how this plays out. Strong looking bench too, Demari seems brighter coming into the game later and, of course, Harvey. COYF

Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 I'm going to go mad and reserve judgment on the effectiveness of the starting line up until at least the game has kicked off.

UPinCarolina Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Can we all agree, at least tacitly, that Puel’s team selection is difficult to criticize - and that as a result, our hive mind should remember that if things go tits up?

foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 I would say this is our best setup and bench, lets do this
