Ian Nacho Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 I know there's a thread in the transfer section but think it would be worthwhile making one in the main section.

Ric Flair Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 He's available, we dont have to wait until the summer which theres never any guarantees you'll get your long term target (Rodgers). It's no brainer.

Probably the most famous recent manager for doing so. See the conveyor belt of players he brought through at Monaco, its frightening.
Dahnsouff Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 Someone should go on Wikipedia and update it to say he is our manager, that “trick” always make it happen.....
ealingfox Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 Whether it's a loose translation or not I don't know but 'in the hot seat' in English only really means that he currently has the job. In which sense there's not really any substance to that tweet.

MrLuke Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 I can’t say I know much about him but reading up on him he seems to fit. FourFourTwo have him as the 12th best manager in world football. Didn’t see where Gary Megson was placed. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/fourfourtwos-50-best-football-managers-world-2018?page=0%2C3 1

volpeazzurro Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 Seems to have perfected the art of getting sacked every 12 months, his last job being a slight exception. Don't know the reasons for this does anyone else? Is he an unstable character? After all the fuss on here regarding Puel, can he speak English?

Popular Post Ricey Posted 20 January 2019 Popular Post Share Posted 20 January 2019 Jardim was at the helm for an incredibly successful period in Monaco’s history and has been linked with Man Utd recently as the sensible, if not particularly glamorous, answer to their problems. But he’s not good enough for some on FoxesTalk. Bring back Pearson! Get in Dychey! Give it to Appleton! 7
Foxxed Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 Fair enough. His youth development credentials seem excellent. But our current manager developed and introduced two of our best players: Hamza and Chilwell. And he gave a goal scoring debut to Barnes. And much improved Gray and Amartey. And previously developed our best winger and right back, Ricardo.. If we get Jardim him before we start pointing towards the relegation zone, we'll be nothing more than a footballing joke.

sphericalfox Posted 20 January 2019 Share Posted 20 January 2019 Thing is, Monaco's model was built for buying up the best promising youth across Europe, and coaching them up to a high standard. That has been their model for the last 7/8 years (I think) That isn't a Jardim thing. Maybe he benefited at the right time once they had hit peak performance etc. Not sure how that model has fallen to pieces but it has. but that's another thing entirely.
