“Mendy most of all”? Does everyone agree with that? I don’t... thought N’Didi was the better of the two, Mendy jogged and let play through a bit too easily at times on his side I thought...

Mendy always seems to be stuck between 2 thoughts.

"Should I go and press the man with the ball?"

Or

"Should I follow the runner?"

In the end he ends up doing neither and often gets caught in no mans land while the play passes him by. He was better tonight, especially after a couple of shocking performances. For me, he's our weak link.

It was something about Hamzas stride, you could see he was going to catch him, he was like a lion that had spotted a wilderbeast as Attenborough goes "Oh dear, the wilderbeast is f***ed" just an inevitable outcome

You obviously watched the late night, extended editions of Life on Earth.

Evans has to start from now on, makes Maguire play better.

Agreed. I'd start Hamza over Mendy too

Agreed... and that in turn makes N’Didi more indecisive.

Good point after another slow start.

Could argue we should’ve won had Maddison not missed a golden chance. Or Gray failing to square it.

Solid at the back, made them look quite average in the end.

Puel got the game plan spot on.

But if Gray had crossed...Maddison would of missed.....:giggle:

Been trying to tell people he's a fraud for a long time and nobody listens...

Brilliant point lads

Not sure about that, yes he gets caught out a couple of times but he's a keeper who plays the ball. The amount of times he was out after we played the ball over the top or around the defenders for vardy and he was there. His positional play and how quick he reacts is what they have paid for, that enables the Liverpool defenders to play much further up the pitch.

good point tbh, good performance as well, created number of chances too on another day we'd have got all 3 points but ill take a point, knowing us though we'll bloody win on Sunday,

I hate to be cynical, but seriously, on what day? We suck at finishing. The biggest myth we have going is that this has something to do with bad luck. No. We just suck at it.

On another day, we win the xG by 2 goals and lose 3-0.

That said, amazing game. Players need to get more aggressive though. Went backwards far too easily 1H, and Maddison need to attack the goal, not look to pass, when he is 4 feet away from it. I was pissed at Gray when he didn't see Maddison, but realistically, IDK if Maddison is confident enough to score 1-on-1 at the moment, I fear he's in that mindset where he takes too many touches looking for the advantage instead of just trusting his skills.

On the other hand, Gray, you need to be less aggressive. Unless you are 1-on-1 with the keeper, you need to look to pass. Your shots from distance are awful, really wretched, straight at the keeper with little pace kind of stuff.

Excited to see Tiel debut. We need a bit of attacking magic, and he is the only player on our side who can deliver that. Well, I suppose Gray can to some extent, but his low football IQ stops that from mattering. And I love Albrighton, but he is worthless in the build-up in this sort of game, his crosses never accomplish anything because we have nobody in the box who can take advantage of them, plus his presence allowed Liverpool to play the cross because he was zero threat to cut inside, that hurts our other attacking players because Albrighton doesn't demand the attention a more attacking wing like Barnes would. Barnes made a ton of sense 2H.

This game was incredibly winnable. Our lads just needed to get out of their own way. Outstanding performance, but in all seriousness, these sorts of games drive fans berserk, as we can see what we could be if we could just figure it out.

We need the lads to expect three points from Man U, they are absolutely beatable, as is Tottenham. I suppose two points from these three games would be considered a success of sorts, though we should probably be getting 5-7.

Difficult game, against a good opponent on a difficult pitch. Klopp

Nobody handles a presser quite like Klopp.

To be fair, I think the decision to shoot was the right one at the time. His shot was just really lame. There were 2 defenders between him and maddison so the ball would have needed to be very good

That Choudhury tackle... take a bow lad

I've been saying all season how good the kid is. He should be playing in a 3 in Midfield every week.

I just love his attitude.

In what world should we be getting 5-7 point from a run of fixtures including Liverpool, Man U and Spurs?

League leaders, a team unbeaten in 9 and a team firmly in the champions league mix??

And people wonder why some question fans expectations??

Fair enough Man U aren't what they once were and Spurs are missing key players but both should be feared

Keep the faith with our team Foxes fans! We are wildly inconsistent, but the results we have achieved with such a young team against the top sides is very exciting. The players need a few more seasons and we need one or two more star players, but we might be getting one of those players tomorrow!

yeah, Gray might have put the ball across and Maddison might have put that other chance away, im not saying its bad luck at all, its bad decisions, timing, and not good enough finishing, .

but its all ifs and buts and candy and nuts

dont say that, we cant not dream and such given we won the league a few years back

being realistic isnt a part of some of our fans logic

Enjoyed that. Worked so hard pressing them in midfield. N'Didi was immense. A big chunk of our fans missed our goal as gone for half time refreshments too early ? on another day we'd ve won surely. That Maddison header kop end looked a sitter and second half Gray needed to lift head up. Vardy and Maddison were fuming with him. Great performance though ???
