How frustrating we don’t appear to put this effort and quality of performance in versus any team outside the top 6! after we equalised Liverpool never really looked like scoring and we could have won it! Well done lads now onto Sunday where hopefully we play as well!

After that though we had the better chances without really making Allison work. Seen again the potential of this side, Ndidi back to his best tonight, nice to see Mendy put in a polished performance and the back 4 superb. Puel certainly knows how to manage a game from a positive position. Can’t not question the starting positions but he’s always willing to move things around mid game. Players clearly believe in something here, even if it doesn’t always work. They probably should have had a pen but **** em.

But to take away points to an in form Liverpool at their place is pretty damn good. I liked the starting line up and hope we can stick with pretty much the same, but with Barnes in for Gray perhaps. Saying that i did think Gray did ok tonight, but he really needs to be more aware of who is around him and less greedy. Thats 2 games i have for sure not been BORED !

Again, playing against a team intent on defending for 90 minutes is totally different to what we had to do today. We are a decentish team, if we can learn to unlock stubborn defences now and again we'll be laughing.
