I almost admire him, even though it's a horrendous gamble yet again. What the fcuk does Mendy have to do to be dropped? His behaviour vs Man Utd was abysmal, his performance vs Southampton was one of the worst I've ever seen from a central midfielder and he werent much better vs Wolves. Vardy I could almost understand but the alternative is absolutely laughable. I agree mate, he's putting his foot down. However it sends such a negative message out in a game like this, starting without a striker. We all know Gray isn't up to it at a striker down the middle. How Mendy stayed on the pitch in that Man Utd game I do not know. Lets hope we can be proven wrong!

EnglishOxide Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Behind Claude all the way on this one. If Vardy wants to act the **** he has to accept the consequences. Puel must have backing to bring the youth through. Mendy over Ndidi is a brave one but if we get a point and play well he's justified. Yooooooooof!
Deeg67 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Ironic at how posters rail constantly that Morgan should be dropped when his form isn't top-notch, but Vardy remains a sacred cow.
KingKoala Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Knowing Vardy's scoring record against big 6 sides, he must be unhappy starting from the bench..
oxtonfox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 So Mendys job will be to break up wave after wave of Spurs attack given the rest of the front 5 are not tacklers especially Ghezzal! Hamza should be starting; what’s he done wrong?
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Ndidi out is another very strange decision

Mendy and Ghezzal ffs, it's like he's trying to get himself sacked. This will either be the most genius move in managerial history or the most stupid. It's the old thin dividing line between genius and madness. Puel can come down on either side at different times.

North Leeds Fox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Interesting to see how we attack. Imagine it will be quite a fluid front 4

lgfualol Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Gwon Puel Already dropped Morgan for 3 weeks and Vardy on the bench today. This is a man who doesnt give a **** what anyone thinks anymore. Barnes and Ghezzal to bag.
