Deeg67 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I totally get the Vardy call. Barnes can absolutely play the #9. Mendy over N'didi or Choudhury is one I'm less thrilled with, but my guess is that Claude feels his game meshes better with Tielmans that N'didi's does. I suspect we'll see no small experimentation on that score over the last 12 games.
Ric Flair Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 It's the Ndidi dropping and not Mendy that has staggered me. Vardy has been muck for weeks, even though he has still chipped in with a few goals and assists.

Farrington fox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 What does Mendy have to do to be dropped!

Maybe Barnes has a future as a forward but he's so far played less than a handful of Premier league games, being thrown on to play as a lone striker, probably for the first time in his professional career, away at Tottenham for a side struggling for form? That's ****ing appalling management. And what does this say to Iheanacho? It's an absolute myth that Puel is good with youth. He plays young players, that's not the same thing. He does nothing to nurture these kids he just uses them as a cover for his own ineptitude.

woznotwos Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Didnt Vardy get caught being less than diplomatic at the end of the last game...just sayin'

Because we have better options to replace Morgan. It's really not difficult to see that

Larry_LCFC Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 So we finally add some quality into midfield and we drop our main striker. GENIUS!

yorkie1999 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Actually, after second thoughts, I’m going to be positive. Vardy coming on in the second half ain’t a bad thing.
Legend_in_blue Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Puel is just a poor mans version of Mourinho. The players had him out the door and Puel will follow in a similar manner by the summer. If he's still here I'll be absolutely amazed. His man management skills are shocking.

TrentFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Our bench is sooo unlikely to change the game, with one obvious exception! Is Ian injured or have we just drawn a line under him and accepted he’s crap?
