Tielemans

Offers us the key to unlock stubborn defences the way Mahrez use to. However, in a completely different way. He is right in the shop window for others. Think he will be a very good player and hope a few years of those are with us.

£40 million is a lot and will hinder the rest of our summer plans. However, it’s not too often you find a player with his capabilities. Try and get the deal done please .

Hopefully we can get him in the summer for less than 40million prices are always higher in the Jan transfer window

No, we won't. We either pay the full price or he's gone.

Not really sure we can afford £40 million. What with the training gound/loan/prospective stadium expansion that would be a serious amount of money for us to spend on just one player.

However, to get to the next level he is the calibre of player required, though we pobably need 3 or 4 of that quality.

This summer is huge for us in terms of recruitment and retention. As exciting as some of our youngsters are we could use a couple of decent quality experienced players too.

I'd cash in on Maguire and Chilwell, as it would free up over £100m for 3-4 new players if financially we are tightening the purse strings to pay for the infrastructure improvements.

Personally would sell harry if we get 60 million,  use possible 25 to30 million plus silva for tielemans and use the rest on a proper target man for plan b, that sometimes we lack.

He looks like he's really enjoying it here.

We need to make him an offer he can't refuse.

Sign him or he dies?! Intense but could work!

Would love him to sign. He’s not Kante level or anything like that and I don’t know why he can’t last 90 mins, but the type of midfielder we need and with plenty of improvement in him too.

Top has already proved he means business paying £6 million and the compo to Puel to bring in Rodgers early. The club were hardly going to come out and say we have X,Y Z in place for him. Cannot see us n ot trying to put something in place

Maguire yes, but you'd let our best LB go? We don't even have a proper back-up.

Tielemans is a must sign, we'd revert to our old midfield problem otherwise and there are not many of his quality for 40M. Even more so when you consider his age.

Go all out for him.

Chilwell isn’t our best full back. Still lots to learn. Great breaking forward but generally doesn’t beat a man and turns back. Crossing has a great deal to improve on and his lack of concentration at times lets him down defensively, like yesterday. Ricardo is easily our best full back.

If Monaco want £40m for Tielemans, write the cheque now. He’s class and still only 21.

Think it is time for some to get on the going forward bus and be a bit more positive. Last summer we paid over £40 million on a reserve keeper and 2 defenders one out on loan and one learning the language. Looking at how Silva is playing we will have enough to buy him if he wants to come

Surely we need to get an agreement in principle in place asap, before others see just how good he is. Deal to be confirmed 14 seconds after the transfer window opens please. Do not fanny around Rudkin. Get this done.

I should've written LB. Fuchs is on his way out and we don't have any other.

It does seem a lot but if we remember that we got £35m for Drinkwater, it is probably good value, especially if it can be mitigated by sending Silva the other way.  Also, if there is any truth in the rumour that Silva was not featuring for us because an appearance threshold was part of the deal with Sporting then we have probably saved money on his fee.

I don't think that the fee is the only obstacle though.  Tielemans is potentially world class and one of the brightest prospects in European football.  Would he want to sign for Leicester permanently?

Because hes 21  he'd be earing a hell of a lot more than he is at Monaco and he would be playing week in week out in the best league in the world..

The Silva and Tielemans situations are fascinating. Both players struggling for their respective clubs, both get a move and it’s working out for both of them! This has turned out to be a great deal for both clubs after all.

I’m glad Silva is having a good run, one because it increases his sell on value but also because he deserves some luck after a torrid time here.

Couldn't agree more. If we could sign him it would be a mere stepping stone to greater things but even one season of class can make a difference, look at Kante. Unless he's absolutely 9 out of 10 for the rest of the season I'm not sure the really top clubs would buy though the smaller second tier such as Spurs and Inter may well be interested. The only thing on our side is the fact that he would start most of the games whereas elsewhere he may not play that much.

And that he’s still another couple of years left on his Monaco contract, if they want silva, surely there’s a deal to be struck
