The Guardians HT comment

There’s just enough time for Leicester to win a corner down the right, and for Maguire to send a poor header over the bar. And that’s the half-time whistle. It’s been all Leicester, though they’ve not seriously worked Guaita

nailed the problem

When the teams needs a hero we have Demarai Gray on the bench.

It's time for Demarai, Vardy or Ghezall off as they've been pretty useless.

Gray to score in a Leicester 3-1 win.

People say we're unlucky, but how much can it happen and still be "unlucky"?

I think we flatter to deceive. We're like one of those teams that we mocked during the title win season. We have lots of possession, play some nice passes, but how many goals do we score? There's only so many games you can go before it stops being "bad luck".

Nigel Pearson would say you make you own luck, and our players don’t gamble enough in taking shots, Maddison could take a first time shot a few times but instead he takes his time

Fair point if it’s 0-0.

They've scored with a deflected 35 yarder.   Say what you like about our lack of creativity but there is no way you can ascribe us being behind to anything other than bad luck.

Very unfortunate to be behind. There is no way they deserve to be in front.

Structurally we are very good but not cute enough in the final third. It does feel like we are one pass away from opening them up on many occasions, but we have yet to find that pass so need to turn it up in the second half.

Really hope we sign Youri Tielemans, he's brilliant to watch.

Dierdre is too slow at this level.  He might produce an end product now and again but on the ball he is less dangerous than Gray as he isn't as quick.  Gray might not have the end product but his pace alone causes problems.

As for the remainder of this game you could see the referee would give a yellow our way for the slightest infringement despite Palace ****housing their way through our team with no cards given.

To top it all off, their goal comes from a free kick as a result of us winning the ball back fairly.  Pretty much sums it up.

Unlucky? Yes.

Threatening enough to deserve a lead? No.

Spot on. If that’s a good half from us then the rules must’ve changed. I thought you only got goals from putting the ball in the net, not creating half chances and winning possession stats.

They are lucky b******* and must be carrying lucky rabbits feet but we deserve nothing either

I seriously feel the curtain is coming  down on Puel‘s time here. Lose today and fail to beat Brighton and suspect he will be a goner.  Shame he had been let down again.

how is his fault? he's not playing.

He's the manager he decides the tactics, which we have been playing the same most of the season, with mostly the same end results, if it hadn't been for Christmas we'd be in relegation fight now.

We’re too slow in attack, gives them plenty of time to organise their defence. It’s far too common a sight to see a Leicester player think about shooting, see a defender in front of them, then pass sideways to someone else who has the same problem.

Plus, how on earth have no Palace players been booked, yet Ndidi gets a yellow card for brushing against Zaha?!
