fazzyfox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 We have developed a habit of allowing things to happen to us under which a 2-1 Fulham win, a foul on Babel for a penalty, an unmarked Mitrovic header etc would now seem inevitable. But no. New page, new attitude, new discipline, let's start again, 3-0 win, Barnes on the score sheet, smiles on faces, loud and proud, happy days!

shailen Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Hoping this will be an attacking entertaining game with both teams going for it. 3-1 Leicester

We should see some new manager bounce and a fresh start and an easy victory against relegation fodder. But it’s us. We have a nasty habit of conceding early, or just before half time, or in the last minute of added on time, and we struggle to break down sides who park the bus and then the crowd boos when Ghezzal comes on. Hope I’m worrying about nothing.
reynard Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 I can't see there being that much of a change to be honest. The players have spent the last 12-15 months training to play in a particular way. That won' be able to be changed in 10 days. I'm not sure we even have the required physical fitness at the moment to play the Rodgers way. Neither side can defend and I'm not changing from a 2-2 prediction. One thing is for sure if we underestimate them like several on here have done then we will lose. Despite their poor form it is important to remember that much of that was under Ranieri who frankly seems to have lost the plot. Fulham have 3 or 4 very decent and dangerous players who if played in their correct positions or even played at all, both of which Ranieri failed to do, could cause us problems.
Happy Fox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 I think we will win 2-1 it won’t be pretty but we will get the job done. I do think, the players will improve in time with Rodgers, encouraging to hear Maddison’s words. Next season is where we can judge Brendan and I think we will all be pleasantly surprised.
Mike Oxlong Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Fully expecting a loss It’s the Leicester way And as woeful as they have been this season I thought Fulham put in an improved performance v Chelsea last week
RumbleFox Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Just captained Ricardo in my FPL team. Let's do this!! X
Haywood_6 Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 Just hope they don't throw it away in the last minute like against Wolves and Watford. Don't think I can take any more of that

Blue ROI Posted 9 March 2019 Posted 9 March 2019 For all the doom and gloom lately it's about 4 years ago this Saturday we drew 0-0 at home v Hull and it looked certain we would be relegated. Never believed we would get this far! Confident about our chances today. Not the ideal start last Sunday but today is an opportunity to put any relegation fears at ease. In a way it's good that Claudio left them. Less emotion involved and just need to get on with it. I'd go with the team that played against Brighton. Fulham have improved but they aren't that well organised and can be got at. The defence is still a concern for them. This would be a great day for Vardy to get his 100th goal in front of the home crowd. COYF
