Can't complain at 80m (provided the add ons aren't stupid ones).

If one of them is OGS is still there at the end of the season - we are screwed.

Great business at £80 million

Great business provided we get a ready to use centre half in ASAP. Pretty sure that will be done quickly.

I cant believe Foxestalk has gone daft over an article from The Sun. Lol.

No truth in this at the minute, then? In terms of an £80m offer?

I’m sure they only get 15% of the assured fee ......

question is do do they receive the 15% of the add ons ??.

Another question is

is the sell on Clause for total transfer or is it on any profit we make on the fee we paid Hull

Its in the Mercury too...not that that proves anything.

I just want this over and done with so we can prepare for the season.

If he wants to go then he should just go, we need to get Soyuncu and Evans (or w/e pair it is) set out and begin to work together.

No player is bigger than the club.

£45m for Dunk :jawdrop:

Don't - this would be a wrist slashing event.

Nobody seems to know BUT

if you bought for 100m and sold for 80

not only would you lose 20 but would still have to pay sell on of the 80?

Doesnt make sense to me so assume sell on is on profit.

Like I said the other day, i hadn't heard anything and I still haven't. No news is good news though yes?

I don’t mind him going for £80m. If we’re honest, he is over rated as a defender and we are arguably a better defensive unit without him. The only negative for me is that we’ve had to concede to one of the ‘big boys’....although £80m does soften the blow and there is an element of Manures pants being pulled down.

Evans

Soyuncu

Benkovic

Morgan

Pascanu

Knight

Johnson

even if Maguire does go for 80 million I don’t think we need to purchase another CB, especially 40 million on someone like Dunk. I’d sooner go and spend 60 million on a new winger.

No news is, no news.

This whole situation seems very odd.

So Man Utd give us £80mill for our 2nd best central defender, so we offer Brighton £40mill for their 2nd best central defender.

I have nothing against Dunk, but I'd hoped that BR would have had faith in either Caglar or Benkovic to have a run in the first XI particularly as we spent £35mill on them.

The problem with that idea is that wingers worth £60m won't come to us as we don't pay high enough wages and we're not even in the EL, let alone the UCL.
