Yeah but in that Vardy is saying there was no relationship break down with the players

I don't put much stock in what Vardy says to the media tbh. His post match interviews are the most sanitised and polite things, while his on-pitch shithousing clearly shows an entirely different side of him.

I’ll be completely honest here. He was perfect for us at the time and his tactical shift about ten games in. His media work was superb in taking the pressure off and it played out brilliantly.

However by the end I was pretty annoyed with him. Really had hoped that we’d improve and it could have mutually left end at the season.

Some of the away performances were eye watering bad. The farce at Copenhagen where he changed a team on the bus for example

Oh yeah when we won the league it was the perfect storm . His second season for many reason was diabolical and he had to go but I will add I also think the players were in the frame of mind of so what now and can it get any better than winning the league

Meh water under the bridge. If we'd kept on Ranieri we'd be battling with Forest for that elusive 12th place in the Championship now with someone like Pardew in charge but we didn't and now we can just forget about how it ended and focus on the achievement.

Back on topic, Vardys a class act, any teams giving him any sort of space in behind are suicidal.

Vardys always a threat the guys a legend.  I said in the Daka thread he doesn’t influence games like he used to but was still scoring . Today he was more like the old Vardy he was a pure menace and didn’t give the defenders a moments rest with playing of the shoulder . For me that’s Vardy at his best

We seemed to be more direct today, constantly looking for the ball over the top, even when it didn't work very often. Much rather have this than Evans to Soyuncu to Castagne and back to Schmeichel.

Yep definitely seemed like we were  playing to his strengths more  today than some of the games recently

Which was clearly a tactic because of the weather and players getting it stuck under their feet. Playing it into the channels and round their CBs was the better option. Watford sat deep in the first half so the ball wasn't always there but they pushed up in the 2nd half took a few risks and got away with it.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Jamie vardy is the best player we have ever had, or ever will have.

Privalage to see him play and is a lcfc legend already.

He is just a phenomenon. Never seen a better finisher then him. People will point to Aguero but Man City create 7 or 8 chances a game. He's had to live off scraps for a large proportion of his time with us. Both of his goals for us today were unreal finishes.

Did seem like there was a message in his celebration towards Claudio on a separate note, but I'd never question his commitment to any of our managers past or present.

I read his celebration as worshipping Brendan - probably half due to the Ranieri love in and half Rodgers having a bit of a tough time recently. Also maybe a reminder to the fans who are manager is.

Think he was pointing at Stowell tbf.

Regardless it is quite funny how many comments I’m seeing on the highlights alluding to how Leicester fans hounded Ranieri out. Load of shit

I thought we were playing a lot more longer balls before the snow started to fall tbh and thought we won a lot of second balls which made a nice change from recent games! Maybe a slight change in approach going forward ….. we shall see!
