PhillippaT Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Most of my wife's friends don't care much for football... (The couple that do support Leyton Orient...) I guess I should be thankful? 1
Donk Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Id love to know how many goals are scored as the result of a passing move starting with the keeper, than how many goals are conceded. Seems like teams are chucking them in their own net non stop. And its so unnecessary 1

He couldn't accept the fact they'd play poorly and it was everything always out to get them. Media was against them, officials etc etc Media? Oh the irony! The England selectors too. I have a deep dislike of them, and nothing seems to be changing my mind.

Not taking Danny Drinkwater in 2016 and taking a Spurs heavy team after their mental collapse confirmed all suspicions of big club bias. I haven't watched England since and couldn't give a ****. Jobs for the boys 100%. 1

The FA are a bunch of Eaton wankers who are ruining football to line their own pockets (rant over) 1
urban fox Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Thought villa actually looked half decent today. Totally shit defence but actually looked a threat going forward. Still going down but at least they look like they could make a fight of it. Actually think this season may be more of a two tier affair with a definite top and bottom half rather than a big middle section.
trabuch Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 I don't think this is a fair examination of Dyche's football brain. But it makes me laugh. 1

Nalis Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Maybe that Vertongen / Eriksen story is what Trippier was referring to when he left for Atletico. 1
Guest Markyblue Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 What kind of people write a book about NEARLY winning a trophy, and they call us nobody's. I suppose they got nearer than 2016 at least they finished second.

If it’s true, I’m surprised Eriksen has been playing. He’d have good grounds to refuse to work alongside Vertonghen.
