Sheff Utd fully deserved that.

Did the good stuff in first half, took the lead deservedly. Got stuck in and put bodies on the line in the 2nd half and made Arsenal look like a League Two side.

For so much money spent in attack, Arsenal looked utter shite.

Some will say they will struggle, others will say they have done a Good job, especially if they keep their heads above Bottom 6.

I always like to see Promoted clubs, get results and fight Off relegation..

Too many on here, are ready to lap up our achievements when holding our own,or push for higher Glory but seem to despise it,when other clubs show better form than their expected given!!

I would just be as Happy to see a PL Top of the table of:-

Leicester

Wolves

Sheff.Utd

Bournemouth

C.Palace

Spurs ( missing out again)

A.Villa

Burnley

Norwich

Arsenal

Etc,etc....

And Sky Sports would still just talk about Man utd and how great they should be.

Impressed with the way that Sheffield United play.

Quick, organised and quite direct.

Think Billy Sharp isn't cut for the PL and it had showed a bit tonight, even though he played ok overall (lack of pace and skill).

After 9 games:

- Ahead of Chelsea on goal difference.

- 2 points ahead of Arsenal

- 5 points ahead of Tottenham

- 7 points ahead of Man United despite losing to them (lol)

If we beat Southampton on Friday you'd have to rate our start at something like 9/10. You couldn't have asked for much better and after that disappointing result against Wolves in our first game, we have turned it around brilliantly. And as Rodgers says we know our wingers can do better to make us even better!

Loving this season so far! :brendan:

Brilliant weekend for us.

We won.

Chelsea won a fixture you expect them to.

Tottenham and Arsenal get one point between them in fixtures both need to be winning.

Man Utd still only took a point at home even if against top class opposition.

Always liked him. Done well everywhere he’s been.

He should be England manager.

Very good interview. Honest, down to earth, no whinging, no bull. Breath of fresh air. Compare him with all the other tossers in the Premier League (Klopp, Dyche etc). Lovely guy!

Remember when a lot on here were expecting us to go to Brammall lane and play them off the park in a 6-0 win?

Doesn't quite work like that. Great result and performance from SUFC. Decent result for us too.

On paper their side is Championship standard but Wilder's management brings the best out of them, as we've seen so far this season he expects a lot out of them, even in the games they've lost and played well in, Liverpool for example, their performance got praised but he was having none of it, he was pissed that they didn't get a result.

He is obviously a manager who sets high standards, his team matched those standards tonight. I can see many sides having difficulty against them this season.

Hopefully Wilder can keep them up.

It's an odd one tho, reckon to a few on the outside it will grate a bit. Bit like Pearson.

It's ok having high standards. But I thought he was harsh in his interview after our game. Talking about hard work etc being the bare minimum. They gave us a good game and he basically gave his players no credit.

Personally I hope they stay up. Mainly due to the loss of west brom, Sheffield is one of the better days out.

But he like Pearson could probably do with a bit of the Brendan media charm school.
