@Mark we both said Benrahma wasn't good enough for the PL but since the restart and our strong links to him I've watched several of their games and I couldn't have been more wrong. I think he's potentially as good as Mahrez, I really do.

Yeah I've watched a few of their recent games and he has looked better than I initially thought, scored some great goals and created good chances cutting inside from the left especially in their last two games which with better finishing they'd have been promoted. He also looks comfortable dropping deep to receive the ball, making runs forward and playing meaningful passes forward that open up the game.

We'd probably sign him and play him on the right though. 🙄

To put their top flight absence into perspective, the last time they dined with the big boys we were in the pre broadband era and MP3s weren't actually a thing, let alone the MP4s we now enjoy every day.

Truly a 100% fact that really #MakesYouThink #Spooky #TopFlightAbsence

Last time they were in the top flight, you could still buy a brand new original Mini.

Last time they were in the top flight, Sony's flagship games console was the original PlayStation.

Last time they were in the top flight, we were still at Filbert Street.

Clubs to retire shirt numbers in players' honour:

West Ham: Bobby Moore's No.6
AC Milan: Paolo Maldini's No.3
AC Milan: Franco Baresi's No.6
Inter Milan: Javier Zanetti's No.4
Napoli: Diego Maradona's No.10
Ajax: Johan Cruyff's No.14

And....

Birmingham: Jude Bellingham's No.22

Played Villa.

Birmingham City are such a weird club aren't they? Proper small town mentality despite being the 2nd club from a huge city.

When we played them in the cup, bar Keep Right On most of their songs were about Aston Villa.

Very strange

Forest were one point behind second placed Leeds after beating them with 15 games to go.

They finished 23 points behind.

Forest were ten points clear of Swansea with just six games to go.

Swansea finished above them.

Jude "41 appearances" Bellingham lol

I thought the clubs that had Fans as Number 12 (I think Portsmouth and Reading had it for a while) was bad enough but this is next level.

Sad, their whole identity is based on hating Villa. Make your own damn history #obsessed
