sphericalfox Posted 6 July 2019 Posted 6 July 2019 If we make Europe off the back of this transfer the outlay will pay for itself. If we get 2/3 years out of him he will pay for himself on any outgoing transfer. A £40m historical transfer fee is crazy to think is merely nominal given circumstances.

The lad wants to play here. It doesn't matter if Man Utd come in at the last minute. He's done his due diligence and decided - at least for now- to be a big fish in a smaller bowl.

(Unapologetic plane geek post) My guess is it's the plane ready to take them on pre season. Probably cheaper to land a few days in East Midlands than it is to land in Luton
