Tend to go around the half terms. So either Feb or October.

There's still a chance! lol

Positive thinking! I like it, follow the Shinji way and may God bless you on your quest to see the shining smile of the samurai, once more.

Was going for Iain Dowie's record of not scoring in the Prem but he leaves an absolute legend.

When I think back to the title winners, both he and Ulloa were men that stepped up and made a name for themselves, that takes unbelievable mental strength. His overhead kick vs Newcastle baring in mind the pigs ear of the goal he scored against them in the away game several months earlier just showed why we all loved him. A character, a hero.

Good luck in Malaga, Shinji. Will try and get to a game out there sometime.

Everything about the man made me smile, from the way he played to the way he conducted himself. As someone else said often sacrificed his own game for the team when we won the league. Over the course of time I hope people don't just look at the stats and underestimate how important he was to that side as he was pivotal.

Hope he enjoys some more success in Spain and gets the chance to bang in plenty of goals. All the best Shinji one of my favs.

What a legend the man's been, his terrier like harrying of defences was as much a cornerstone of our title winning playing style as Kanté dominating midfield, Riyad cutting onto his left, Vardy sprinting beyond the back line and so on and so forth.  Never going to forget him or his silly grin, hope he has a great time at Malaga.

Not named in the squad last weekend for the league start.

Currently the club's most valuable player according to Transfermarkt, and that at age 33.

Malaga seem to be in financial troubles, as their owner Abdullah ben Nasser Al Thani is fed up investing and is on the verge of pulling out. Only had nine pros in their squad on Saturday, the rest were academy. And apart from Shinji, they've just signed one more player in the recent transfer window (José Rodriguez).

Hope this doesn't end in tears.

having spent a day there a couple weeks ago, I can vouch for the fact that shinji probably won’t care, as long as he gets paid ......... it’s not really like stoke on a Wednesday night !

Didn't someone say last week that he hasn't officially been registered yet due to financial problems at Malaga?

Contract terminated at Malaga.

Come home Shinji.

Okazaki will not continue in the Blue and White discipline

The player is no longer part of the Club, bringing an end to their contractual relationship.

Shinji Okazaki (16/04/1986, Takazuja, Hyogo - Japan) joined the Malaguista first team during this current summer transfer window. However, he will not continue his professional union with the Entity.

Málaga CF thanks the player for his commitment shown during this time and wishes him the best of luck for the future.

Talking about... Okazaki

I still think he’d be an asset to a side in the Premier League that presses. His tenacity made him the perfect foil for Vardy.

Technically pretty decent.

Plays like he’s constantly on ice though. Can’t stand up that boy!
