He is only good enough to be a rotational sub for us.

I hate it every time he is in the starting eleven because its shooting ourselves in the foot. 

If Rodgers cant see this then OMG:mad::frusty::banana:

Agree with Albrighton. Credit in the bank is irrelevant to this as a one off game. I’m not a massive Perez fan and for me he’s an alternative to Maddison, playing two lightweights is risky against a physically strong side like WHam. Barnes has struggled through 2 games and isn’t fit and was anything but unplayable today, Maddison has struggled for a long time now, he’s a long way off the player he thinks he is at the moment. Vardy’s goals have dried up and his general play at times is summed up by his assist for their 1st goal.

I don't know why we're still bothering, last season he only scored against Sheffield United and they're not longer here, infact his last three goals came against them going back to the end of the 2019/20 season.

Yeah I want more from our starting right winger, too. 

 

It's been said a thousand times on here, Perez is not a right winger, so it's unsurprising that he doesn't play well there.

 

Ultimately in Vardy, Kelechi and Daka, there probably isn't space for Perez if we end up signing a starting-quality right forward.

 

However, he's not a terrible footballer and he isn't the reason for our shortcomings. I'm more concerned about Maddison who hasn't been in form for ages and seems to be nailed in as our starting most advanced player in our 3 man midfield. Madders doesn't have the excuse that he's being played out of position.

Weak and slow, hit and miss, more interested in plastic bags and parties than football. I'd be starting KDH at this point.

Find it laughable at this point that people claim that there’s an anti-Perez agenda. It isn’t an agenda against Perez. It’s an agenda against players who are way below the required standard and, as such, actively damage the team’s opportunity for success.

 

They were all miles off it from the first whistle today, but Perez is an absolute pariah in terms of ability amongst the usual starting eleven.

Consistently weak and unproductive. One of our worst signings in recent memory.  Those who defend him because they believe that to do so is somehow supporting the team are seriously misguided.

Problem is we have tried Gray, Albrighton, Under, Ghezzal and now Perez in yhstv position. We've tried and failed to address this problem. I hope we have a new RW by 1 September. Another roll of the dice.

Absolutely laughable how he barely got a sniff all last season until injuries depleted the squad & now all of a sudden he’s the answer to our right wing again. 
 

He genuinely doesn’t have one single trait that stands out, he’s just bang average at everything and miles off the level we are aiming to be.


It’s seems like Rodgers is just playing him out of stubbiness now, my signing, my man kind of thing.

A bloke with raging diarrhoea has some good runs and a peeping Tom can get in good positions, both of which may be of more use with an actual football at their feet than Perez. All we ever hear is about working hard and movement off the ball. After all this time and countless appearances, it's worn a bit thin. May as well employ a labrador.

Thinking about it, if we had of played Ghezzal as much as Perez over last 2 seasons do we think he’d of been worse cause personally I think he would of got more goals/assist

Bad tackle. Silly card. 

 

This isn't confirmation of him being a bad player but it is a factor to the overall picture of him. 

 

You wouldn't catch the better players in the team making poor choices like that and that's telling.
