At this point, yes.

It's like he doesn't want to admit he was wrong.

Wouldnt surprise me if this was his and Congerton's first big recruitment decision here.

Just not good enough for where  we want to be and doesn't justify his fee.   Thats not his fault though.

I would prefer we move on from him but dont see us getting anywhere near the investment back.

But until otherwise stated, he is our player and i hope he pulls an upset and sets up/bangs in some goals. Wishful thinking but hey.

Every week he makes the starting eleven and it honestly baffles the hell out of me as to how he gets chosen so consistently.

Rodgers must see something in him that the majority of us are unable to.

He hasn’t improved any aspects of his game since he’s been here. In fact, we are in year 3 of his time here and I struggle to fill one hand of good performers from him.

He’s now a burden for me. He takes up wages and space in our squad and we really need to get rid. If we can have him out before the end of this window, I’ll be glad. He’s had so many chances.

He's not going to be moved, because no one would have him.  Hie level is Championship and his wages are PL.  The only solution is for BR to stop using him - but on evidence there seems little chance that will happen.

The silver lining is we get to see alternatives to Perez now.

I don't think him and Madders in the same forward line works very well. We look slow and weak, and oppo defenders must fancy themselves to either outrun or outmuscle them.

Perez is so weak that even his entire body weight thrusted into that pussys lower leg and it still didn’t break and played the rest of the game 😂

In their final third he shows for the ball which Barnes and Vardy and incapable of, Barnes because he was marked out of the game l, but Perez is so slow and weak that every good touch he makes doesn’t take him anywhere. Has been such a bad signing and I can’t be doing with watching him start again.

Our wide attacking options is hurting this team massively

it should never happen. WE where in a scrap last night and they offered no physical power

I think the price we paid for Perez is one of the main reasons why people are overly critical of him. If he cost £2.5m I don’t think anyone would be as arsed, but the fact he cost the same as Youri means that people expect more from a player costing that much.

I think it’s a reason, I don’t think it’s the main reason. The main reason is he plays far up the pitch and contributes almost nothing in goal contributions, and is the opposite of easy on the eye when he is easily knocked off the ball and gives it away.

I don’t think it’s all bad with him, and a lot of the criticism is over the top. But for a club with our ambitions he clearly isn’t good enough, and I sympathise with the feelings of exasperation that we keep persisting with him and not signing an upgrade despite us demonstrably lacking in that position.

If Rodgers hadn't been responsible for his transfer and he'd only cost a couple of million, do you think he'd still be playing him?

Another example of Rodgers being stubborn and not learning.

Just like DM has now tactically taken him to the cleaners 3 times, he continues to play one of the most underwhelming players we've ever had.

We dont get value for money from him to be honest.

Exactly, for an attacking player that cost 30 million and is no doubt on wages to match we should be getting more from him than we are.

He averages less than 8 goal contributions a season, its not good enough. At least with Albrighton you get defensive cover and exceptional work ethic when he plays (And he was free).
