Like Praet alot, but what I notice is he starts the game a world beater and the longer it goes on the less I notice he's even on the pitch... more than capable back up comfortable stepping in anytime I'd think, a bit tougher and more consistent and he's a real player

Spo on, glad it wasn’t just me

Pretty good today! Filthy pass for the first goal.

Only thing missing in his game for me is a touch of arrogance. He’s comfortably a better technical player than 75% of players in the country, and should dare to dictate the game a bit more. He’s oozing the quality to do it!

I don't disagree with this, but I think that arrogance is the only thing separating him from potentially being our best central midfielder and not just a damn good one.  I want him to be cheekier and try the high-risk pass (which as we've seen he's brilliant at) more often, but I think that will continue to happen the more time he gets on the pitch with the first 11.

Also, there's something to be said for having a guy who takes a tidier approach when he's paired with Tielemans and Maddison in the same lineup.

Caution, the passing in this Gif is not safe for work!

It actually gets more pornographic the more times you watch it! Pure filth I tell you!

Absolutely outrageous.

Pure class, ****ing love him but do agree he could put his stamp on games a bit more with some swagger.

But anyone that says anything else against him is irrelevant and deserving of an instant ignore.

JJ doesn't even have to break stride to play the ball into Nacho first time. The way the ball bobbles on the ground to slow down to exactly the right speed is almost hypnotic.

That's one of the best passes I have seen from a Leicester player for a long time. The last one I really loved was Mahrez to Vardy when we beat Man City 4-2 in 2016 when in the pouring rain he first time cushion passed it to JV.

Probably the best since Praet's over the top ball to Vardy a few weeks ago.

What about the Mahrez to Vardy at West Brom, that was a great ball. Or Ndidi to Mahrez who then set up Vardy against Manure.

We have been spoilt recently but Praet's definitely makes the Top 5. Ridiculous ball. It split/overplayed both the midfield and defence.

To tangent a little, I’d be very interested in seeing JJ on the left in one of these cup ties. I know he played there some at Luton but not yet with us as I remember. Curious to see how comfortable he is in that position.

Justin came on as a sub on the left

against Watford.  It was only a cameo, but he looked composed and got an assist.

I'm going to be controversial here, I think he scuffed an attempted ball over the top, if you watch the gif, he doesn't look in Justin's direction, not even a glance, the angles also seem like he wouldn't have been aware of Justin who was starting his run from way back and obscured by players, I may of course be wrong though.

I thought this too. Either way he'll claim he meant it 😉

Dennis is a very capable player. I think he's got a solid all round game, just doesn't 'currently' excel in anyone facet. He's almost the perfect blend between Wilf (tackler) & Madders/Youri (creative). He will improve and represents very good scouting as he was an unknown to me.

Are you Dion Dublin? Praet got a clean contact, it was not a scuff lol

Is it my imagination, or does Gray turn and acknowledge Praet immediately after Nacho finishes? It's like he's pointing out where the goal came from.

That's exactly what I noticed too. Love it!

I thought he had miss hit it but looking at the whole sequence, I think it was a  pre prepared move - there is no sense to Justin making that run once Dennis receives the ball unless it was a planned move. I think he strikes the ball deliberately like that to try and prevent it running too cleanly across the ground as at that angle, it would usually run out of play .......

so I’ve changed my opinion - genius !

I think he was disguising the pass. He looks another way as he plays the ball.

If you look on the bbc video clip of the goal when they show the replay from another angle you will see him look to his right before playing it forward to Justin.

Can someone gif that?

Yes, you can very clearly see him look up, pick up Justin's run, then look away to throw off the defenders as he strikes the ball.  It was magnificent start to finish.

Reminded me of a certain type of golf shot that only the best can play.Low fizzer that grips on second bounce defo  had backspin.

I met some Belgians on holiday who had much praise for him.Very solid player who hopefully can just take another step

Agree. I wonder if he simply hasn't adapted upwards to the rigours of Prem football yet. After all, he hasn't had a great deal of playing time so far.  I am looking forward to his increasing contributions for us as he develops and adapts with more playing time.  Am very excited at our having acquired him, and I feel that his involvement for us will be even more telling when we are in Europe.
