andy peake goal was amazing...know it wasn't,  but has somehow blended with a joe walsh hat-trick on debut in my deterioating mush of a mind....

It was Joe Waters and it was only two. Brings back memories every time they show one of the goals in the pre-match montage. Hell of a crush behind that goal, couldn't even get my hands above my head. So dangerous back then but it was part of the culture.

Liverpool have conceded a few of late, we can get at these.

It'll be a bloody tough game, but we have the ability to get at this team. If we can hit them with the wing backs forward we can try to and out number them.

It's a bit like Keegans Newcastle. You knew you could get at them, and potentially score a few, but they were just as likely to do the same or worse to you.

That's It Littlle Big Man. You got me started and the governor is coming off.

Hamza and Ndidi to start my ass. Time to open up the throttle full bore Brendan. I want to see a Guns a blazin, end to end, high intensity pressing match.

ENTERTAIN Me Brendan like I know only you can.

Key for me is stopping Firmino, if you can cut him off then you go a long way to stopping a lot of their goals and chances.

Look at tonight 3 of the 4 goals scored come directly from him.

4-1 win with the away fans jubilant chants of "4-1, even Nacho scored" and "Brendan Rodgers, he left cos you're shit!" filling the air.

The positions he gets in make him hard to track. Makes it tempting to put someone on him, but feels like a waste of a player. They'll just have to be switched on.

I think a few are getting a wee bit carried away here. I must admit though I am starting to get more than a little bit excited about this game. If we put out our attacking side like the last two games rather than one set up to contain, I could see this being an absolute corker full of goals. Both teams have an equal top defensive record, I believe we have potentially the best midfield in the league, and Liverpool the most potent attacking trio. (cue a bore score draw now I've said that).

Providing we make a game of it, I will not be too disappointed if we lose this one, but by the same token won't be surprised if we come away with all three points. If we can pull it off, while too early to be a Man city away in 2016 moment, the belief-o-meter is going to go into overdrive on here and the rest will suddenly sit up and take notice that we are actually a serious contender.

Bring it on.

True, he manages to just roam around the pitch that makes him so hard to pick up.

We need to be alert and at our best

Salzburg played brilliantly but giving away a 3 goals lead is mental and unlikely to happen again. They got complacent and 2 of RBS goals were worldies, especially the second one. Klopp is going to give them the bollocking of their life and they'll come at us with a point to prove now.

That said, they're very vulnerable on the counter. Be organized, patient, play fast on the break and on the ground, bully their FBs. Cut any passing lane to Firmino. He's the biggest problem in this team.

After hearing about what Salzberg did to their "A" team at Anfield I feel much better. I'm ready now.

We need to put them to the sword. Time to make the next step and dominate them mentally from the start. Relentless. I can live with the result.

I smell 3 points. I have to find the replay of the match.

Maybe that was true a year or two ago, but Chilwell is actually very good in the air imo. When do you see him losing aerial duels?

Wasn’t it the main out ball for Schmichael from goal kick to float it over to the left for Chilwell to invariably win?

Anyway…. I’m a bit bemused by the the debate… Chilwell is ace and we are lucky to have him…. He’s finding his pace a bit in the opening games, but, still been quite solid… Love Fuchs too and we are equally lucky to have him as a fantastic back up…

Things are going really well if this all we have to grumble about :D

And by association, Juninho.

Bloke was still living a contented life in Kåmark’s pocket, last I heard.

TBF, he could probably do a half decent job. Pontus is swole!

Salzberg  while great to watch made serious rookie mistakes which cost them the game and that fourth goal.

1. manager and players going that mental over a goal when theirs 30 minutes left  in the game,  can understand in the last minute but for me it was a bit to early to go that mental, always leads to a team lapsing in concentration afterwards.

2. full backs still pushing on at 3-3, goal was from players playing out from the back which was naive. At a ground like Anfield or City etc the next ten minutes  after you get a big goal  you bank in and defend properly, if they had done that Anfield tonight  I could of see Liverpool  would of got frustrated and I think they'd of pulled of the result.

I think with  a more experienced manager if you find yourself in the same situation on Saturday you will choose the right times to attack rather than spending 90 minutes going gun ho, at least I hope so anyway. Its a very hard task but it can be done.

I'm very excited about this test but let's be realistic here. Despite looking a bit 'vulnerable' they have still won every bloomin game. They have so much pace and skill and are a pleasure to watch. They haven't lost at Anfield for god knows how long...We need the performance of our lives for this and I don't think we could be better prepared after the last few games.

I won't be surprised if we get a hiding and get put in our place a bit...But I'm hoping for an epic. We're far better now than we were last year.

I wish there was a love heart eyes reaction button. Post title win/CL that'd be my favourite Leicester game if that happened. Growing up I got so much grief 'from Liverpool fans' that I'd love for them to fold, twatting them at home would do after having a skinful in the Ship & Mitre.
