Ben Chilwell

Recommended Posts

Chilly's form has come down to the other teams figuring us out. Both Chilly & Ricky P are being stifled on the wings. Every goal kick or throw out from Kasper goes directly to Chilly every game. Even I had noticed that after the first 5 or 6 games of the season. We are not trying anything new. We are trying to run the wings but are getting strangles off and several times there is not a simple pass to make. Chilly has to try some through pass that he obviously does not have the knack for. Ricky P has ability to take on his markers and get up field but Chilly just either gives it away or leaves it behind his feet when he ttys to beat someone. Noticed Perez guilty of leaving the ball behind also.

Absolutely shocking today, almost indescribably poor.

Obviously young and a good player with the potential to be a great one but he was all over the place and today’s performance was the culmination of a month in which his confidence has been gradually eroded.

There is no way that Justin or Fuchs could be any worse at this point.

Has all the attributes to be one of the worlds top left backs. The way he played in England’s epic away win over Spain proves that.

However, like at the start of the season he is clearly struggling with his confidence over the last few weeks, possibly ever since Mahrez tore him a new one at Man City.

I think playing with Barnes, particularly at home, really takes the pressure off him going forward.

Often caught out of position. Not great one in one. Which attributes are going to make him one of the top in the world?

Needs dropping indefinitely. Has been poor for a while and todays performance was disgraceful. Gives off the impression that he thinks hes better than he is. Massively overrated.

What gives you this impression? You think he is purposely losing the ball because he thinks he is really good or what? Lol

To me he gives the impression that he is out of form and today he was trying dumb passes to try and get the crowd off his back.

Terrible today. Should have found Barnes and Vardy with better passes in the first half. Should remember that we play in blue. If you're ironically cheering him when he gets the ball you're an utter moron though.

We should stop kicking the lad and start kicking Rodgers what the f**k does he think he's doing. Talk about destroying a player's confidence , once you start a defender its very difficult to take him off because he is playing badly. So don't f**king start him.

Cool let's go back in time and not start him!

Are you suggesting that Rodgers hasn't noticed his recent performances? If he had been left out of this match nobody would have batted an eyelid. Like Tielemans he so obviously needs a rest.

Of course I don't think hes purposely losing the ball. Its more the fact that he looks as though hes just going through the motions and I feel as though he knows his place in first 11 is safe no matter how poor he plays.

No more so than fans cheering when Ings was yellow carded .... he had just scored the winner ......

btw, let chilly rediscover his form - just a shame that it was Brendan’s tactics at man city that were mainly responsible for him losing it !!

Those fans are still less moronic than those in L1 singing 'it's not football anymore' and '**** VAR' for disallowing us a goal, the linesman had flagged.

Add in moments before them going mental because the penalty decision was over turned.

Yes he is.

He can’t pass or defend. Watch our games rather than assuming he is good because he has a few England caps.

He is truly awful....and once again showed that again today.

Agree completely, all this, he’s one of own, blah, blah, he is usless
