If we were going to sell then I'd want at least 7. Nobody in the league works as hard as him. For a relegation fighting team, it's invaluable." So I thought I was doing better than most until I came out with... "So effectively Okazaki for Vardy + 3m? Take that every day of the week." I love Shinji as much as the next Leicester fan but jesus. My post got deleted, for some reason.

If my maths is correct that would mean if he was to score 2 in one of these 7 games and 1 in the rest then the 100th prem goal would also be his 11th in a row. At home, on boxing day, against liverpool. Am I being a bit too optimistic Quick maths, love it.
Farrington fox Posted 25 November 2019 Posted 25 November 2019 Best player there has ever been at the club in my lifetime. How the hell can you replace him!

You really can’t - which is a bit of a concern really. Mind you, he’s probably got another couple of seasons in him - hopefully.

MC Prussian Posted 25 November 2019 Posted 25 November 2019 He's potentially on course for 30+ goals this season. Let that sink in. Coincidentally, 30+ is also his age. And will be forever. Guy just won't get any older. Which is pretty freaking awesome.
Stadt Posted 26 November 2019 Posted 26 November 2019 I feel like he's capable of breaking Shearer's record of most goals in a season

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 2 December 2019 Posted 2 December 2019 Watford (h) Aston Villa (a) Norwich (h) Man City (a) Liverpool (h) Those are the fixtures he needs to score in to equal it. West Ham (a) Would be the potential 12th to break his own record. It’s an incredible record when you think about the period of time he’s been scoring and he still has 5 fixtures he has to score in to equal it. There are certainly games there where he can get goals but obviously the Man City and Liverpool games will be tough to score in back-to-back so I don’t think he’ll equal/break it.

Laughed at this then realised I should probably check what I had to say: Quote No way, Vardy's a machine. I'll have my gold star sticker now please. Unfortunately like yourself I let myself down a bit with the next one: Quote Has everyone forgotten he's English? Surely that makes him worth 15 million minimum. 15 million for Vardy? Idiot.
majaco Posted 2 December 2019 Posted 2 December 2019 How many more consecutive games does Ianaecho need to score in to break Vardy's record?
trabuch Posted 2 December 2019 Posted 2 December 2019 I'm very drunk again, but this is the truth. Jamie Vardy is an absolute Leicester legend. I love him more than any other Leicester player I have ever seen - and there have been some wonderful footballers in that time (40 or so years). He rocks, he rolls (but only when he's been caught by a defender), but he flies. He's a raptor. I really hope there is another Leicester footballer who I love more one day, because that will mean we are interstellar.
