Yeah Arsenal are a great Club with great players. BR is bound to leave little old Leicester to join them. The thought of coaching their defense and Ozil must be a massive pull.

The next few days/weeks the media will be desperate for Rodgers to leave little old Leicester and join a 'top club' like Everton or Arsenal.

Maybe Burnley should approach Chelsea for Lampard - he's doing a great job. Or Bournemouth could see if Pep would come to the South coast?

Well I'm guessing that's why the tweet starts with the sentence "Personal Opinion of the chances of this materialising are very slim" and then goes onto just report the fact that Arsenal are going to ask the question.

In general, I do not, and never will get the bile towards the media just because they report on what is happening. They can not report on clubs are making offers to our players and staff if you want, that's not going to stop other clubs making offers to players and staff. The only difference will be you wont hear about it.

I get certain sections of the media make stuff up, but that's all it is, made up nonsense, there isn't someone working as an idea's man at Manchester United checking Football Rumours for inspiration.

Savage trying to sell Rodgers now, Lineker telling him where to go

The same Savage that loves to be associated when things are going well.

He's derailing his own gravy train here.

Not sure where arsenal go now tbh. Can they get Eddie Howe from Bournemouth maybe? 50/50 on that one imo.

They need a big name tbh, an Ancelotti. Someone to woo the crowd and give them belief. Howe would be decent for Everton should he want a new challenge

I understand why he's suggesting Rodgers, he's a top coach, but Arsenal need a big name to go in to woo the crowd. A serial winner like Ancelotti, as none have the patience for anything else.

Yeah, serial winners go to clubs fighting for 8th

Other clubs have former players defending them to the hilt. Ours suggest our manager should leave.

I doubt Steve Bull or Matt Murray are saying Nuno should go to Arsenal.

They need to start with their boardroom and the way that their club is run from the very top on down. Same as man. United.

They need alot more than a manager.

They also go for shit loads of cash.

Arsenal are still a big club, in name at least, with the financial power to pay big wages.

300,000 per week for Ozil will get them to the top of the League. :fishing:

Bet everyone's buzzing to manage the brand

Yes, pretty sure quite a few are. If Allegri comes, it tells you all you need to know.

I think because of money in the league being available to all, these sort of roumours just don't carry the same weight. Not worried at all about Arsenal. We brushed them off twice at home this year, we have a better squad and one of the best training grounds in the country coming. We are also the best run club in the country with the best owners.

Yet they only signed Pepe for 72 million because they could pay for the transfer in instalments, and didnt have the finanial clout to sign Zaha.

That Allegris out of work probably. I think it's speak volumes moreso if Rodgers and Nuno *dont* go. Big switch of power going on.

Savage is full of sh1t. Always comes across as very bit6er towards Leicester. Could be wrong but weren't we the only club he won anything with. But just a little twat.
