That has just gone into number 3 of the most annoying puns or play on words on this forum.... sitting behind ‘Brenda’ in front of ‘Spuds’ but number 1 by miles is still ’Chelski‘

Man Ure's another one. Maybe they're mildly (very mildly) amusing the first time they're used. But come on - we're better than that aren't we?

Ok, dumb question...

Most annoying for me is Florist. That makes them sound flowery and fragrant.

Must admit, hadn't come across that one - but yeah, it's a bit weird agreed.

Pretty dodgy on several levels when you think about it...

Or when people write "F****t" instead of Forest.

Other forums are just as bad. Spurs refer to Arsenal as "Woolwich" and Chelsea as "Chavs" for example.

Forest fans call us "Fester" (even though they are always at pains to point out how much they don't care about us)

Their pre match thread for the game against West Ham was titled "The Mighty Spurs v Knuckle Dragging Pikeys"

Surely we can just refer to other teams by their names?

Happy Christmas Marco.

Everton:

“we’re done with Silva he’s clueless - we’d like to offer you the job with immediate effect”

New managerial candidate

“I’d love it , would be my dream job . Before I sign who are our next opponents?”

Everton

“Leicester in 8 days time”

So he could be out before our game, time will tell I guess. But as an everton fan you'd be extremely disappointed with both names

I dunno, Eddie Howe could work out well. Don't expect that he'd leave Bournemouth mid-season.

Why the bloody hell would Howe trade Bournemouth for Everton?! You're comfortable and respected at Bournemouth - the board at Everton are useless and expect miracles. Guarantee he'd last 18 months at Goodison regardless of where he took them.

He's an Everton fan allegedly!

Could be a lot lot worse - some speculation on the radio that Mark Hughes could take over as caretaker

Just hope everton do nothing until friday or saturday - should be sufficient to mean they turn up as disorganised and without a clear plan as they have all season - then they can mean business when they play liverpool the following week!

Not on current form he’s not

Ok, but if you go back in time a year Vardy isn't better than Callum Wilson, *on form*. Form should come into judging a players quality as little as possible. And tbf to Richarlison it's hard to be any good when the whole team is awful.

If I was an Everton fan I'd be happy with Howe. He's taken Bournemouth as far as he can, which is very far. A much better, long sighted signing than pretty much any of their managerial appointments have been.

Surprised that Moise Kean decided to join them.

Should be stayed at Juventus and developed himself further there.

Juventus would have put him behind 3 or 4 of the best players in the world, leaving was the right choice. Everton probably wasn't, but maybe they were the only ones who would pay what Juventus' wanted.

Everton's defense has been dreadful for ages, not sure Eddie Howe is the right person to fix that either. They do love hiring attack minded coaches though, I can totally see someone like Lucien Favre turning up at Everton if he gets the boot from Dortmund.

Yeah should have stayed where his captain was an apologist for racists
