Still buzzin!

For anyone who needs an instant "fix", download the LCFC BBC radio Leicester podcast on Spotify (or wherever)..

I was listening to it in the car on the way to work. The roar when Kelechi's goal was given is priceless. I had goosebumps all over.

We all know Stringer is a bellend, but that goal reaction is great.

The VAR sacking Silva thing is a bit generous to him tbh.

We were shit yesterday, let's be honest, they had us on the ropes a bit, they deserved to be a goal ahead and then he parked the bus instead of pushing for two.

Later he compounds things by bringing on a DM for his lone striker to try and rescue a point. Got what he deserved for showing zero ambition.

Cags was having a rare off day, we looked shakey, there was opportunity there they just declined to take it.

What a game to watch on delay the next day!  Staying off twitter was worth it.

Kelechi, obviously, great.  Goal and an assist and that reflected the impact he had, he was fantastic.  I have to say I feel bad for Silva, though, because Everton really did play a very solid match and that's a hell of a way to lose.  Nice sub from BR, but of course if Gray hadn't been sick he probably wouldn't even have had Kelechi in the squad.

On the VAR question...  First off, he was definitely onside, no question.  But how can the defenders not switch off a little even involuntarily when they see the flag go up?  The rules are what they are but really, that's unfair on the defending team.  A double blunder by the linesman really - not only did he blow the call, but he should have waited to flag it.

Because you learn from the age of about 9 that you "play to the whistle". A linesmans flag is not a break in the game.

Pickford balling out the linesman shows him up as an idiot. The ref didn't blow the whistle - play continues.

If you look at the Everton players, they raise their arms to appeal for offside, and before turning and seeing the linesmans flag and then dropping them (you can see this on the VAR replay). I think the only person it could potentially have affected is Pickford.

instead of a Vardy party ( although he scored and is on another brilliant scoring run ), it was a VAR party. it had to happen didn't it that we would win a game deep into injury time with a VAR decision. it's never boring or straightforward with the foxes and that is what makes it so great following them. it's the never say die spirit which we have.

The Everton players raising their arms confuses me, they know the goal will be checked. It's the rule now so why do they still do it? As many have said, play to the whistle and get on with it. Your arm in the air isn't going to affect a video decision.

Well done to the ref for letting play continue, probably the only good thing he did the whole game.

By raising their arms it had a direct influence on the lino who raised his flag prematurely without due consideration. The ref might well have blown and wrongfully denied us two points.

Watched motd again today and whilst Youri didn't have his greatest game he can for sure pick a pass and cross /Like Barnes and Perez they need tp keep trying this stuff because it gets the result in the end.No need to go back to conservative footy stick with the brave stuff

Ndidi was an absolute beast throughout the entire game.

constantly winning the ball back. spraying long passes out to the wings. making short, quick passes forward to get us going.

he's gone from being able to win the ball back but then wasteful in possession to being able to win the ball back and then getting us moving with accuracy and speed.

probably one of his best performances imo, yesterday. unreal player.

Kante-esque

N'Didi is great, I know he's a very different player from Kante but he's doing that role Kante did in 15/16 so well, breaking things up and getting us moving forward.

Ndidi’s best on the ball performance for us as of yet.

Barnes run and pass to Perez in the 1st half as well was sublime, out of the two yesterday it was Barnes who was the more dangerous of our wingers. Perez has gotten in to some glorious positions in the last few games and only converted one of them, I just wish Barnes could be gifted some of the same positions the other side and get a goal or two to kick on. He has certainly been guilty of missing some gilt edged chances himself but in the last month or two he's not been granted many proper chances but it's surely coming.

I know you probably didn't mean it that way but part of Perez's usefulness is that he finds that space and gets into those positions, which is something we haven't seen much of from Barnes'. Perez isn't gifted those positions, he earns them.

Still not yet but Ndidi is getting better and better.

Kante regularly scores and does neat one-two passing in the final third. He is even better now at Chelsea.

Kante only scored one goal for us and until this season he's not exactly been banging them in at Chelsea either.  His 3 goals already this season means he's now only 1 away from matching his most prolific season ever. That's not why people are likening the 2 players though and comparisons of N'didi's recent performances to the way Kante dominated opposing midfields and bombed the ball forwards for us are fully warranted, N'did's really coming on leaps and bounds.

If you do want to compare goalscoring output then you should know that this season alone 22 year-old N'didi has already provided us with twice as many goals as the 24 year-old Kante did.

Not seen any mention of that goal saving (probably) tackle by Jonny Evans when we almost got caught on the break whilst pushing for an equaliser.

Another superb bit of defending that would've lost us the points if he didn't make it.
