Said in his press conference JJ would return to full training during the next international break, so middle-to-end of November.

That's always been the target. Great news.

JJ is looking good. Gonna be hungry as a wolf too! Hope he's well prepared mentally as thats key coming back from a serious injury like his. I'm sure he's in good hands after the way Ricky and Barnes have been nurtured back to 100%

It looks like he's been able to feed off Fofana's positivity, and probably vice-versa.

Its easy to forget how important JJ was for us at the start of last season. Blistering pace, highly intelligent, hard working, clever, skillful and defensively solid. Can play LB, LWB LM, RB, RWB, RM and CB all to a premier league quality level without looking massively out of place.

Adds options both defensively and going forward and with this 5 at the back system there are so many areas where he could be useful. This is a massive win for us

Love this guy so much. Felt different to all the other long term injuries we’ve had. Seems like a real good bloke with a good head on his shoulders. Type of person you want to see do really well.

About another month until he plays for the first team? Is he registered for the Europa League as we play Legia end of Nov so could be used as a sub then if we comfortably winning. Fixtures against Watford and Newcastle at home also possibilities

What a beautiful sight! Welcome back JJ!

All his best work has been done behind closed doors. The only semblance he'd have of just how popular he is is off social media.

I really hope, really hope, whenever he is reintroduced he receives a rousing reception.

Welcome back JJ. Can't wait to give you the cheer that ast season you so richly deserved

Definitely needs a song.

Rather have the issue of trying to keep 5 fullbacks happy than trying to decide which two out of form and semi-fit ones are supposed to play.

Realistically he's only gotta keep Ricky, Tim, JJ happy. Ryan knows we didnt bring him in to be our main man and Luke will have to impress with the chances he gets.

Great to see him back in training today. Can’t wait for his return, he was probably our best player last season up until his injury. I really hope that he gets a fantastic reception when he returns.

Ridiculous to think, if all fully fit, we could field a back 5 of Ricardo, Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu, Castagne & have a back up of Justin, Amartey, Vestegaard, Bertrand, Thomas. That’s incredible depth!

Justin > Castagne as LB
