That draw is so obviously a fix. They are desperately trying to make it look like the draws aren't fixed. They are using the league cup as a smokescreen for the fixes in all the other "more important" cups.

Get a lead and counter at villa. 

If they got ahead from the 1st leg at Villa, then they could be very difficult to break down in the 2nd leg.

it is odd how often derbys happen in semis lets put it that way.

 

I remember in the 90s saying to a mate the minute we and spurs were ever in a facup semi we would draw each other

Managed to get in just as they were closing the gates 😅. Traffic was a nightmare getting here. Just in time to see us score twice. Second half we couldn’t kill them off and why we stood off Baines is beyond me!! Thank god for Schmeichel! We have broken the hoodoo

I'm not going to lie, I couldn't watch the penalties after Baines scored his goal, thought we had lost it and the momentum was with them.

 

So excited we have another semi-final to look forward to! Would love to see us at Wembley again.

 

We were good for lots of this match, and then quite bad in patches, But this is cup football and at the end of the day the most important thing is getting through, and we did! Go on the boys!
